nakakagulat at nakaka mangha din na mapakinggan mula sa isang banyaga na kinakanta ang mga lumang at matuturing isang Klassikong awiting filipino. BRAVO
A lot of kudos to you dontagala for this amazing post, this tenor deserves as much admiration and praise as all the other famous singers Jerry Vale, Nat King Cole and the Lettermen who sang their own versions. Mark Piekarz should be a superstar to all Filipinos anywhere for his added classical dimension to this immortal. He sang and pronounced the words correctly and his tenor quality hold is a perfect classic!
@r2d2568 It's sad!!! for the greatest childhood ever was growing the Philippines <3 I would never change my childhood back home for anything in ths world!
It is wonderful to have Filipino songs sung by other nationalities taking so much effort in learning and pronouncing the words correctly. I guess the singer had somebody taught him the articulation and diction of the Pilipino language and in doing so, also learned the meaning of the words and the song. Thank you for all the efforts of the singer and the result was an excellent redition of the song, and thank you for posting this video. What occassion was these ?

If this tenor comes to the Philippines and sings this song, he will become as popular as his countryman John Paul II the Great!

This guy has shown the Philippines great respect by singing this Filipino Song perfectly.
Sad to say, a lot of Filipinos living outside the country cannot appreciate Filipino-classical music. Nor do they know any Filipino culture.
