While the H2O analogy can sort of help to visualize it, ultimately all analogies used to explain an infinite God fall short. H2O for example cannot exist simultaneously under the same conditions in all three states the way the three members of the Trinity can.
Mr. Campolo should have also clarified that Jesus and the Father are not the same "person" as the questioner asked. They are two of the three persons that make up the One God.
i also believe in the trinity. very interesting analogy about the 3-1. i love it! thanks tony! i love this show and look forward to it every week. Thank You! to both of you.
I loved the analogy of H2O and the God head....I will use it in my teaching. I think it is a great way to help my third graders understand the difference in the Trinity.

I love you brother you challange me in a good way sometimes, but "...Herself..." Where did that come from?

Mark, how did you end up doing this show, if you don't mind my asking? I thought you rejoined the Gaither vocal band?

Very well done Tony. God is not a Person, but an Essence.
