i love that all the coke bottles are scattered around the table. i also love how the camera is turned to dan's brother as daniel's opening another coke bottle. that's classic rock and roll, man. who needs coke when you have coca-cola.
well, i mean, the interview is shit. i mean, the interviewer seems like he's not into it. daniel is answering questions that by this point are redundant...also, it seems like the whole interview segment is interrupting daniel's lunchtime. i wouldnt wanna be interrupted while eating. the most beautiful thing about the interview...johnston's interview style was dylan-esque, almost douchebag-like. beautiful.

well, of course he's going to show gratitude. it's the right thing to do. that doesn't mean that he necessarily enjoyed being interviewed and/or the interviewer.
Yo Daniel. I picked up Artistic Vice all those years ago. I love that one. Anyhow I never got to see you live and I hope you do a show in London one of these days and not in a big artsy venue filled with serious young men in duffle coats - I can't go to those places. Rock on dude!!

this is great! you guys are just hanging out, having fun. daniel's music can be very entrancing at times, yet he is down to earth in this interview.
what does michael hamilton do? i saw his 'i fucking love new york' video and i LOVED it. stumbling upon this interview has made my day.
