Since NHL expanded in 1967, only 2011 Bruins, 1991 Pens, 1990 Oilers, and 1989 Flames overcame such an inglorious start to win a Cup and only 1982 Isles survived Game 5 at home (opening round was best-of-5 before 1987). Therefore, legit teams have to put away weaker teams early because there is less room for error later

I have been to many hockey games over the years, and without a doubt, Federov is the fastest skater I have ever seen. It was as if his skates never even touched the ice, and you couldn't even hear the sound of his blades on the ice. And I'm not even a Red Wings fan! Second on my list of fastest skaters who I have seen is Pavel Bure.
