Sorry, but this isn't actually very well played. You are marking every tone you play, which doesn't make it very good. Besides, this sounds better if you would care to use a pedal. You need more crescendo and descescendo in several places.
Remember: it's always good to play fast, but then again that's not what it all is about.
@Shotbill264 thank you for the feedback! if I remember correctly, I didn't play this full speed because you wouldn't be able to hear it. but gosh, this is seriously so long ago. i would definitely take heed your advice if I still played.
@Shotbill264 I'm -pretty- sure that the copy I own SPECIFICALLY says "no pedal". Can you not imagine how horrendously wrong pedaling this piece could go?
This is how the speed should be. When it's too fast the melody gets lost and it sounds too much like a jumble, especially to those who don't know the song. Nice job. =)
@MisterPenguinMusic Thanks so much. I agree with this as well. i think if you go too fast, you wont be able to hear what the song sounds like, and like you say, the melody gets lost. i'm glad you enjoyed it! (:
@Patwan112 that's great, but don't play it too fast because ive experienced unevenness and finger-tripping. you also want to enjoy how the piece sounds :P
hey great job! i picked up this piece recently and after listening to your recording, i've found a few of my misinterpretations, thanks for playing it!
is this song really hard? You play it wonderfully, and from hearing you play it, it sounds difficult, but im looking at the music now and it doesn't look to hard
yea, it's not extremely hard. ive seen different ways the publishers have made it, like some notes on treble clef instead of bass and it makes it look more complicated.
i think the hardest part may be trying to maintain a steady tempo, and not rushing too much or making the notes uneven.
gosh, i sound like an expert or something, but i'm not! XD
People be trollin. If you arent some MAJOR WORLD CLASS MUSICIAN, then this is great, well done.

i thought the tempo is prestissimo...oh well, i guess it's not THAT different from allero vivace
metalheadlass 1 year ago
@metalheadlass well, yes, it's supposed to be faster. But I think you can hear it better if it's not as fast.

@yurtzenika ooh thanks so much!! (:
I do have to agree to that. I'm glad many people liked the tempo I was going at. ^^

I like the speed. :) It's not too fast, you can still hear the individual notes. But it's still fast enough to keep it interesting. Great job!!
