ive got an 07 ram 5.7hemi and i have both cats still on it and i have removed both res and the muff and put a 40 series flowmaster on it and it's loud but i also put a K&N coldair intake on it to and that helped it breath alot better and get better mpg.

Yes it is the large muffler directly in front of the rear axle. I replaced it with a similar length of 3" exhaust pipe. I had a local muffler shop flare the ends of the piece and it bolted right up.

dodges have a rev limiter that only allows the RPMs to get to 4000 so do your research before you start criticizing people
