Shavan church went to my gymnastics club heathrow she was amazing i was one group below now im same group but she aint here becky wing is great aswell and i also met beth tweddle and imogine she brill
yh i met imogen at british schools she neeeded big compo so she cud compete in olymoics as she ent competed for a year cuz she was injured :) shes nice lol
You where right in NOT allowing Shavahn in the montage, she is not the same calibur as these lovely girls, like Downie, Marissa, Beth and Hannah. Shavahn was not part of the qualifying team and not anywhere near as good as those girls.
I saw your anti-Shavahn comments in the "comments" section of another video - wow, you really seem to be harsh on her. What gives?
I'm American, & I was excited when I heard that she made the decision to compete for Great Britain. It would have been my pleasure to see her fulfill her dream all the way to Beijing - but she had horrible luck w/ injuries.
Well, at least she got a taste of international competition - '05 Worlds, '06 Commonwealths, '06 Euros.
Beth Tweddle should make it because her bars are amazing and I hope her shoulder is much better..I think her biggest competetitors are Vanessa Ferrari, Steliana Nistor and Sandra Reluca Isbasa and definatly Anastacia Lukin..x Luv Elz and btw I love all these videos and two days ago on sunday i had my novice 4 peice!
Imogen reportedly had a lot of bad luck in 07 but is working her way back from injury. She is focusing on being fully fit by British Teams and is working on a new bars set and a new floor routine!
Shavahn is indeed at UCLA, but all reports of her health seem to be confusing - There was a report on a gymnastics forum that she was sitting out of the NCAA season this year because she wanted to train for Beijing, which would be cool. However on the UCLA website it says she is sitting the NCAA season out to recover from a knee operation.
IMO you made a completley wrong choice to leave out imogen - (rhain has not been at a high standard since a junior / shav has pritty much always be injured) where until a year ago imogen was at the top few branchs of the tree) and after all everyone wrote Imogen off once before and she came back and proved everyone wrong by winning the british twice. IMO i think its rude to leave out the girls who are trying to make the team and have proved they are worthy over and over again.
Did you read the description, I haven't written Imogen off at all, I'd love her to make the team, but at present and when I made the montage I can't see it, becuase we haven't seen her for so long. I hear she is recovering well though, so can't wait to see her in upcoming comps!
Rhian hasn't really been on the scene this year, so I decided not to put her in. I absolutely love her though so would love for her to make a come back and prove me wrong! When I was making the vid she kept cropping up, along with Imogen and Shavahn. Its such a shame they haven't been on the scene.
