@alexis2171954 Even though I deeply love Grace Potter and her awesome music, even though no none can honestly claim to be as great as Grace, still, I thank you deeply for sharing Lydia Pense with me. Thanks Alexis. In return, I give you Lisa Miller, I'm sure you'll love her music too. Thanks and peace alexis.
Can't deny the talent here. I am glad she is doing what she is doing and deserves accolades for it. Not some poseur manufactured crap. She is a true musician who sings, plays guitar and piano, and rocks doing so. Good Grace!

@1990Olloccin I gotta differ there. I think he and the drummer make a great team and he has something about his playing style that is unique. Can't quite put my finger on it
wow, wow, and wow. i always thought grace potter and the nocturnals were going to be some lame sounding modern day blues wannabe, but chick can fucking ROCK!! very very impressed.
what a great voice. if only every modern singer had her talent. modern music wouldn't be the terrible shit that is. she's got a great voice. almost like a modern janis joplin and patti smith mix.
They still put on the best live show of anyone out there and I do mean anyone! I hve seen them three times in the last 6 wks Dewey Beach DE, Cranmore NH, and Nectars Marthas Vineyard MA, and am going to see them Saturday in Burlington VT. NO Band out ther puts out the energy and pure sexual heat that they do.
Go Nocturnals ... amazing ... and she is a modern day Bonnie Rait meets Janis ... agree with for mentioned comments - like her style and voice 2005 - 2009 - love the "rawness" more than the current cookie cutter presentation. Still wonderful
An't no garage band for sure. A band with a mission. Been on Leno and Ellen. They have arrived and bands need to follow their example of truth in mucic, instead of the crap we have been forced to hear. Grace be true please.
I like her from 2005 to 2009 ... then all a record label or someone got a hold of her and now her sound is like every other cookie cutter singer/songwriter -- I like it when she rocks out!
They are pretty awesome but unfortunately people seek flaws in everything even when you must focus extra to hear them and lose sight of anything else in the song. The performance, the lyrics, the strength of the solo, and so on. They are meant to seem like a sixties band. Nothing is true perfection in this world.
@flobtob PLEASE don't accuse me to any country or religion or some stuffs like that... as (((MTNBIKERAZ74))) and (((YOLPLSBEST))) said.... they are not large-minded..the art has blindened their eyes.they can't be critic..sorry for them.remind you -'lordh3mch3n- when we had civilization in ancient times' where were you.you even didn't exist.now you are speaking about culture and civilization to me--from kingdom of persia -- when we had music;such prostitutes even didn't know the alphabet of music
They're better than garage band, but if you went solely on this song, you;d never know it...the guitar is sloppy and she sings slightly off key half the time. still a fun song though.
You have to replay the last 1:45 minutes and watch closely. It's kind of like watching the end of a Pentecostal revival service with snakes and tongues and miraculous things. It is like watching something you really aren't supposed to see.
No, they've been touring and opening for major acts like Government Mule for several years, and Grace has had several songs on current prime time TV shows like Gray's Anatomy.
They're one more fantastic group live, and Grace plays a mean Hammond B-3, too.
The fact that her and this are not at the top of the charts and on the radio all the time is a sad statement of the times we live in. Peace. Out.

In this day and age of lost talent and rock-n-roll about dead.....it is very refreshing to see such talent!
No glittery make-up, crazy outfits, or stupid back-up dancers!

I've been trying to figure out what kind of
guitar she is playing. I think its a Harmony
Rocket. I'm suprised that they are not
more popular. I guess that the radio stations don't know where to put them.
