hey ur hev potential just loosen ur taps they will sounds so much better and not dull like they r now plus stop spinny on the tops of ur toes it makes the dance look tacky otherwise u r really good

Like other people have said. It is good to master and be good at steps but that doesnt mean you should repeat them over and over.

I can see that jazz/ballet is your real strength.

Also mouthing the words is a big no no.

Also be careful not to raise your shoulders. A common mistake. One in which i am still guilty of!

And even though you are probably not responsible, i must mention the costume. that needs to be improved!

Other than that i think you have potential. Keep working on it. and perform as much as you can. Thats the only way you can improve.

You also need to work on "selling" your performance. You need to show off, smile, over-express, create a relationship with your audience so that if you are in a competition the judges remember who you are because of the experience they obtained whilst watching you.

Having been a performance teacher for a very prestigious company for a few years now i have seen my fair share of tap dancers. I have a few notes regarding this performance.

It may be the fact that i am listening to it on the computer and not live, however, it sounds like your taps need to be loosened as they sound hard and quite dull. if you loosen the screws so that they are a more high pitched sound it should improve the quality.

Glad to know you're still exploring tap in search of the rhythm and style that moves, challenges, and excites u. A wonderful dancer + great to watch. I started at 7- Am 40 now. Still love to scuff up the floor + perform right along with the teens in our "show". A real tapper is never hangs up their tap shoes, sees any open hunk of hardwood floor as a good place to work their taps. Keep up the tapping girl! Maybe you could post something of your new moves? I'd love to see...
