Well, I think that I really good that actually Sprint is doing something good for their user, this is not the iphone, but I like sprint plans they are way much better than AT&T, so this is a really good alternative....

Also I heard that you are able to sinc your music from your itunes library.... is that right???

the pre is actually better than the iphone if you compare all the features, the pre has 8gb internal memory where as the standard 3G i phone has a flash drive for 8gb, also the keyboard is much easier to use then the super sensitive keyboard on the iphone

like i said earlier, this phone is not going to kill the iphone. it may turn out like the storm when it came out, it did give some competition, but didnt come close. but i do see this phone giving good competition. but not destroy,

iphone is probably subsidized by d carrier wen bought. how else cud they pay for d improved features? if u do some calculations ull find that d plan for iphone and iphone 3g r different. iphone 3g actually costs sumtin like 50-100 USD more over 2yrs - the cost of adding d improve specs. also it cud explain why unlocked version is so expensive. also where i am, 3 carriers offer the iphone but all for the same price - about the same price as a US iphone

haha iphone killer my ass!!! this thing copies everything apple has already made. yes this is a neat phone, but will it kill the iphone, no. yes this will give apple some competition, but will not take the thrown. the storm brought good competion, but still, no overtaking. but i would like to see what this phone has!

I think it might kill the iPhone in Canada. Roger's is carrying the iPhone in Canada right now, but has no reasonable plans. I fell that when Bell brings the Pre to Canada, they will be sensible with their plans.

It may not kill the iPhone in the US, but it certainly will in Canada.

until the iphone gets a qwerty keypad its no comparison to me. when the iphone first came out i almost bought it until i realized that their is no keypad. typing on the screen seems so wack. i bet people have a lot of typing accidents or have to deal with the phone freezing for a few seconds and wait for the on screen keypad to pop up. I've been with palm for years now and you truly dont know how well they work until you buy one. They may not be flashy like their competitors but they're good

Well, I actually don't have an iPhone, but I do have an iPod touch which is pretty much the same thing but without the phone capability. The keypad problem that you mentioned is erradicated after being used for one week (you just get used to not mistake) I don't know anyone else but I can type let's say 3/4 the speed on a computer... on an ipod touch. Besides, what about all those applications and games that you can download? In my opinion, iPhone is the best mobile device ever, at&t just sucks!

that is tru i could get used to it.. i had many keypads before and i know after a few weeks what i disliked about it becomes okay because im used to it. I dont want to get used to typing on my screen though. if i had to type on my screen for the ipod then that would be fine but i type on my phone a lot (documents, memos, calender, txt's..) and the whole typing on the screen thing seems like it would bother me and get in my way. The applications and the games are awsome though.
