once i get my new computer my settings will be fucking sick. :D i use Pentium 4 atm.. And a 128mb graphics card.. My new computer is intel pentium duel core e5400 and im going to upgrade to e6400 and 512mb graphics card.. and a 500gb harddrive.. not 70 -.- 4gb ram Yata yata yata, win7 blah blah.

@omgmyuserwasdisabled Not bad I have a Amd Phenom II x4 820 quad core, with 8gb Ram 1,333 hz, 1Tb hard drive, and 1gb graphics soon too get another 8gbs of ram and overclock past 1.333. with watercooling. the computer in this video is my old pentium 4 with vista, my new one had Win 7 64 bit Ult.

Cause i want it to run with everything i use, My computer does low resolution pinnacle studio 12 plus with medium low quality, my new one with 4gb of DDR3 RAM 1333 with a 500gb 3.5 SATA harddrive at 7200rpm and Overclock the duel core e6500 to equivalent to a AMD Triple Core (They make 6's and 3's 2's 1's and 4's) It will run much faster, my computer atm with IP4 runs like an outdated shitty as duel core about to blow up..

@omgmyuserwasdisabled The dual cores are some of the best you can buy, its a wise choice your doing, especially for gaming they run faster than hell and overclock really stable. the p4 was really good for its time, its actually what i used to make this video but if finally gave out on me I think it couldnt take being oc'd for so long. if you use it for gaming get an ssd, or even get another drive than reformat and use on Raid 1 or 5 it will run insanly fast

@oST4T1Ko Yeah, I did msconfig in the Microsoft Run program. and disabled a bunch of programs i didn't need when booting my pc. It runs with only 35 processors max now with 700mb ram free from 1gb so its running alot faster on bootup, I got CCleaner Which is a program to fix computer issues and bugs and to help get rid of un-nessasary files on your computer and freed up 2gb.. Once i get a new pc my gaming and my Dazzle quality will be much better.

A couple quick questions, I guess you use Dazzle to capture, do you use S-video or just composite A/V cables? I noticed in the vid you use the setting for composite in Pinnacle. Also which Vegas do you use, every video tut I see on here seems to use vegas 8 but I have Vegas 9 and have been thinking to upgrade to 10, I wonder if these Vegas settings will change. Any ideas on that? Thanks for this video!

@dadoggy03 I just use basic a/v because my setup doesn't allow for s video, however i recomend svid if you can use it. I use vegas 8.0 pro, but if you upgrade to 10 you'll have even better settings I would check out another video for those settings. I might be upgrading to hauppauge soon but Im not sure yet considering i only get online about once a week (if that much)

when i pressed ok for my settings it told me that my computer may not be fast enough to use mpeg setting and may result in dropped frames. i have a dell inspiron 530. would my computer be to slow?

That's weird, if your running the dell inspiron than you should have an intel pentium dual core which should be plenty fast enough to run it fine

hm. I never tried wmv. I will give it a try. From my xp best format for HD on youtube was mp4. But in low res I got slight out-of-sync.

Hey I like the vid, but I've heard that you're not supposed to render the movie in Pinnacle Studio then import it to Sony Vegas because it messes with the quality.

People said I should save the video in Pinnacle then import it to Sony Vegas, so that way it doesn't get rendered twice.

Although I don't know how to do that, any tips?

Thanks man. I don't render in Pinnacle studio i just capture, than import into vegas, im trying to find some even better settings but this is all i got so far, i'm trying a bunch of different settings to see what the best is, if I find better settings i'll upload em.

You mean the dazzle itself? you need either Y splitters, or if your tv has the option of TV OUT, to connect to another tv or device than you can use that. You cannot play in HD when recording! unless you have an HD cap card, you can only play in 480p.

changing pixel ratio and the rendering pixel aspect ratio actually stretch the pixels A LOT. but still does make it look nice on youtube. and might wanna up the volume on your voice next tut. i had to turn up my volume all the way then i got a message on xfire that was so loud i almost shit myself. xD

id love to see settings better than this because i just cannot find settings that work for me. btw the progressive widescreen in studio 12 doesnt do anything :P. thats in project settings so it pretty much only effects anything if you edit and render in studio
