I'm not even a big fan of Killzone - thought the first one was kinda boring (very pretty for a PS2 game, but really,really repetetive) - and I'd have to say KZ2 wins by sizable margin here. Admittedly, I only have a PS3, but rest assured that's not skewing the results. I'm very far from being a "fanboy". If I wasn't saving the money for a new PC, I'd get a 360, hands-down.

personal opinion. i found killzone 1 very good. great story, gritty enviroments. it created a great mood and atmosphere that most current gen games dont even accomplish. and the gun mechanics where great. you probably hated it cos it actually had recoil.
The only reason people say it sucks is because people said it was bad so they just went with it. I bet they never played it. Killzone had a great story, great cinamatics, and above average gameplay. At the time it was made for, it was a great game.
I know it is. its like missing out on the original Gears of War. Every PS2 owner should have played it but because people put it down so much people didnt play it and its a real shame. Remember kids, never buy into hype or name. buy because you think its a good game. If your not sure, rent it and see. Its ok to look.
