I don't understand how you could hate this. It is a great example of what the song means,

"clowns with trigger happy hands" i think the clowns in this video represent an army or government and they are in a war against another race (humans)for unseen reasons, much like what is going on today and the song pretty much describes the rest. I think it's really artistic.

The second meaning is about the way in which society shapes people, hence the "clowns" makes us like clowns, causing us to behave in extreme manors. And, the way the clowns were ordering the young boy to murder, almost seams like the way a soldier would obey his officer, simply because he is authority, even though he didn't want to. And the clown costumes in a way, represents order as they are all dressing in uniform.

For me, this video has two meanings. One, it is about being a complete reject to society. Not fitting in with the social norms, and as we see at the start of the film, results in the clowns getting the living fuck beaten out of them! It is about trying to be yourself, by all means necessary. And despite everything, doing what you believe in: which resulted in un-necassary death.
