I really like the round corner the best. I tried using the same color as the beginning squares, that way the slip stitching does show as much. Just a suggestion.
Okay Here is my question is there a way you could let me know how to count the stitches for the border and the corner if you had a bigger size square? I am working on one that the squares or 10 by 10. Thanks A lot Beth I hope to be able to do a video to show you how it came out or a pic on facebook. Thanks again.
i finished a blanket using this crochet along and i love i ended up using the pointed corners and if i could figure out how to post a pic of it i would. Absolutely love your crochet alongs looking forward to more of them
Sorry to put my comment here in a 'reply' area but I can't find a place for a new comment or question...
Can this be done with larger squares? Can you do more than the 7 loops & 5 rows to make each color section square bigger?? If so......how many would I chain in the beginning to make the squares 8 rows or 10 rows?? Would 10 rows equal 14 loops? (as your 5 rows equal 7 loops)... I hope you understand what I mean... Thanks! Edna
@rustydip1 I answer this in the description in the first video.
"Can you make bigger squares?" has been asked several times, so here is the answer to that question:
"...you could make it twice the size and do 20 chains for each square. ... you just need an even number that is a multiple of 5. Don't forget to add the chains that go between the squares. ...Bigger squares would mean you could cross-stitch onto them too!
I'm stuck with the border, I can see you have done 1 triangle, then you slip stitch 1 square. then another 2 triangle, after that, would I need to slip stitch at the next square. Can you help me please
@red123828 You only slip stitch corners. So continue making triangles until you get to the corner square, then slip stitch. OR instead of doing the slip stitches follow the instructions for the alternative corners. (links in the annotations)
I enjoyed your video and have made my blanket. Now for the border. I prefer the second choice BUT thought instead of slip stitching the first one I would single crochet and have a cleaner edge, carrying the color along the border better.
I've made two blankets using the Entrelac Crochet and was wondering how to make the half triangles. Now I know! Thanks so much.
In working in the round and not cutting the yarn of fat the end of a row, the horizontal lines on some of the squares are going in opposite directions. It really shows up when using a multi-color yarn.
i will wait to c your other method to c which one i like best. i bought some yarn at walmart and i got it home and didnt like the colors. i will take that back and go to joannes as they have a better selection. i luv the deborah norville yarn they have.
This looks pretty easy.... I'm gonna wait to see the alternate patterns to see which I like best. Thanks soooooooooooooo much Beth for your time and I know how much work this is for you. You're an inspiration!

@liz200520 You would do it the same way as I did for this one. Just do more stitches.
Experiment with it. That is what I would have to do to figure it out.
