  • positutely splendiferous

  • the last chord is too beautiful, especially in the context here.

  • Hi! I'm Erwin Schilling (almost but... :D ) I'm a musician and is impossible to me don't say that you are an Amazin Quartet! Thanks a lot!!

    My Best Wishes!

  • Thanks for bringing this to us! Just wonderful. We all need to hear music like this. Enough of the classics that everyone else plays. Music this good and this well played is what I'll pay to see! Come to our neighborhood soon!

  • WOW... i love this piece, the cello and viola conversation through is beautifully played, i'm going to be searching for the music for this for ages now.

    great performance 5 stars A+++

  • I feel sorry for the girl who left the very first comment. She should be able to go to a violin shop and rent a violin and start taking lessons. Yes it will be at a cost but that is far more than buying a crappy one on EBay as someone suggested!!

  • love this sooooooo much. i've always wanted to play the violin but when my parents looked for one for me it cost way too much but i think i'm going to buy one for myself i love the sound

  • go onto ebay; they have violins for like $50. That way if you decide that you don't like the violin it wont be a big deal. Yes, the violin will be crapy and poorly made, but your going to be a begginer, so it's ok. And if you want to continue in orchestra, then you could save up for a better one. Thats what im doing. Btw how old r u?

  • i turn 17 this year :D in 23 days

  • Absolutely beautiful. Do you have videos of the other 4 movements? If so, could you please post them. They are just as haunting.

  • very nice!

  • very nice! gotta luv this!!

  • watch the ALTER QUINTET !!!!

  • Hi there! i just saw you a couple of days ago performing in my country in the Angela Peralta San Miguel's Theater, and it was magnificent, but i keep wondering, did the celo player really passed out?

  • Sort of, yes- She was very sick (something she ate, we figure) from mid-afternoon that day, until the next morning. She wanted very much, and was able to play the Griffes beautifully, but it would have been impossible to perform the longer movements of any of the rest of the program given her illness. She was feeling much better by the time we landed in Dallas on our way home to California... thanks for the kind words!

  • i love this. more! more! your piece choices are great!

  • very nice! I love it that they hold it so tightly together until the very last moment.

  • All of you played very beautiful! But I have to admit that I especially enjoyed the freedom of movement and sound of your first violinist. What about the first string quartet of 1927. Wouldn't you like to post?
