I always wonder why Andy sings this in a southern accent when he's proclaiming himself "A Yorksire lad in London" As a Yorkshire lad myself, it seems part of the same swindle you get when films or TV dramas set in the north and use actors who don't know or have forgotten how to speak 'Northern'
This is possibly the best comment I have ever read on a Youtube posting, so totally and flabbergastingly factual and deadpan that I have to bow to its unparalleled simplicity. It was worth all the hassle uploading this video just to receive the comment. Thankyou for making my day a little happier.
No!!!... I have never heard of anyone called Merv, except perhaps Mervyn Peake who wrote the "Ghormenghast" trilogy. Perhaps he was in a very early line up of the band that I've forgotten about, I believe there is in fact a song called "Steerpike"
I'm not really feeling the video aspect of this, but the audio is superb. Andy is looking nice btw - in many photos he seems to have had long wiry hair, but not anymore! I'm curious to see the DVD on a good tv and sound system. Thanks for posting Ian.
Yes... that is 100 percent Jonas Reingold. The gig was in the UK during a time when luggage and musical instruments were restricted on airlines. The Ibanez was driven in from France. Jonas hopes you will recognise him without his own bass in future. :-)
APPRECIATE WHAT YOUR TRYING TO DO BUT MAY I SAY WITHOUT HURTING FEELINGS?
