  • You are by far the coolest dude on youtube!

  • Warren, thanks for this great tutorial. I just watched the "From the Basement" video here on YouTube and it looks to me like Thom's strumming the 6th string after the rhythm tap, before the up-strum? Also, can you give any pointers on the chord transitions? For example moving from the D-shape to the A-shape...having a hard time doing so fluidly. Thanks again.

  • 1 person is Warren's ex.

  • Warren is the shit! Going this week to Roseland.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I'm gonna give it a shot

  • thanks man

  • great tutorial man, thanks a lot!

  • perfect. ta

  • Dude you're amazing! Thanks for a great lesson! :D

  • warren, thanks for the tutorials, I just picked up a guitar a month ago and thanks to you, i can play some radiohead songs (best band ever) thanks again, keep up the good work!!!

  • Thanks man!

  • Thanks for the tut., helps alot.

  • you talk horrible

  • @kesiism lol, you're saying he talks horrible and you're form Mexico. GTFO troll

  • Dead on!

    thanks for that, awesome song

  • Dead on! Sweeeeetttt

  • I'm not sure if this is stupid to ask of you or not considering what i'm going to ask is about a part buried in the background. but do you think you can give some insight into what Jonny is playing?

  • Brilliant tutorial.. You're a fantastic teacher!

  • Great Job Warren! Love your thoughts on the Cambridge Vid as well as your tutorial thoroughness.

  • wow excellent bro awesome song good job 5 stars

  • hahaha i play it with my electric and it's kinda awkward to hit it

  • Excellent cover! I wish I could play the guitar as you! I need to practice more and more =D

  • hum you lost me at 8 min :-) Thanks though, great teacher man !

  • What are the notes he's playing at 8:30 ish, thats a great sound but I've never had lessons so I'm not familiar with all that verbiage he's using. I heard the C and B notes but what else is going on there.

  • Dude, you are Awesome

  • Hey Warren! Do you happen to know what acoustic Thom was playing for this song at Cambridge? Very desperate to know here!

  • you are a true youtube star

  • Nice cover..just learned it completely earlier today...btw this was uploaded on my birthday..EPIC|WIN

  • hahaha the corn song.

  • you can play it in standard. D, Dsus2, Dsus4.. then Am7 Am7* x02013 Am7

    throughout song

  • @jimzer also whats that faint ringing sound in the vid? sounds cool!

  • Your guitar sounds wonderfull. :)

    Thanks for the post, btw.

  • We need a good tutorial of "Airbag"

  • i love you

  • ne caghi troppo..fortissimo

  • what's up with the guitar in the background?

    did that one break too?

  • @rica2000 Nope that one's intact. But it is in need of a re-fret and some loving attention from a luthier... it's 12 years old and works better in drop tunings now. I used to use the two guitars to have easy access non-standard tunings and standard tunings, making teaching/writing much less of a headache, saves me from breaking strings too quickly form all the de-tuning/re-tuning.

  • @warrenmusic sorry about the comment

it wasn't intended to be anything negative

    just missed those tutorials jeje

    ps

have you heard the acoustic version of airbag that thom plays?

that would make a good and simple tutorial.

    i think

  • The rythmic is wrong. For example : When you play the D on the "up" of the two and four, it's actually on the third sixtheent of the two and four. For all the chords (wich are good btw). Get it ? It's a sixtheent later than you play it in your tutorial. Big difference. ;)

  • @Lucne You'd be right about this except that this tutorial was made based on the version from the Cambridge Corn Exchange, as stated in the video. This version Thom debuted there was an early version, before the sixteenth syncopation you hear on the album and live versions now.

  • @warrenmusic All right. Don't you think the studio version is more interresting ? I mean the syncopation make all the song. You should make an update.

  • Warren you are awesome for doing all this Radiohead tutorials. I love RH, will always be one of my most favorite bands if not THE most favorite of mine. Your a good musician. I must make a request though... these are my twisted words, acoustic. there is guy that did a pretty solid cover from what I could tell, Halcyon91. Thanks for the great new tutorial! love how this song sounds... little bit different from past RH stuff it seems to me.

  • amazing! i love how you play. brilliant! :D

  • This tutorial is brilliant. I don't know how to play guitar at all but I still found it enjoyable to watch. Thanks Warren.

  • Dude your tutorials are awesome... so much detail

    love it

  • nice as always, thanks.

  • Great video, I really like how you explained the harmonic and rhythmic side of things. I thought I new it until you played that altered F chord. Your ears are sharp.

  • love this new tune. all of them for that matter.

  • Anyone who teaches others to play Radiohead is cool in my book.

    Good Cover!

  • I knew you'd be on top of his new solo material! Good on you, and excellent as always. Any chance you can try and show a definitive version of Airbag? The one Maggiebear posted is incredible, but you can't see Thom's left hand at all! Argh! Sounds like it's in an alternate tuning. Someone else on youtube has a good cover in Open G (well Open A cause he capo's the 2nd) but it's not quite right.

  • His solo performance of Airbag from that same show in Cambridge, to clarify!

  • Great job Warren!

  • You must be looking over thoms shoulder when hes writing he music?

  • you should do a cover too!!!! great as always warren!!!

  • i was tryin' to play this by ear, but was pretty hard (because of the tuning and all).

You help me alot in my transcribing...

    Thanks. =)

  • AWESOME, warren!!!

  • Doesn't take you long Warren! As ever, as with all your tutorials, top notch. Thanks for all the great work. As you might put it, Peace and Love!

  • thank you for doing these

  • ur a gun like always warren

  • hehe first lotus flower in a day and now this within two days?!?! its almost inpossible, but I think you are even more into thom yorke then i am! =/

  • nice dude..this is a brand new songs :) thom played in cambridge..

  • that was actually some pretty interesting music theory at the end there

  • damn it warren! hahahaha

  • Of course Warren has this thing down TWO DAYS after it's premier.

Not a particularly hard song, yeah, but still. Christ. You're a ridiculous person, W. Love ya for it.

  • Warren I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are spreading beautiful music and knowledge about Thom/ Radiohead.

  • Warren - You da bomb-diggity-wiggity-wack! haha

  • awesome work warren. but i think the REAL surprise is his acoustic version of airbag. oh yeah, and the ending little solo on black swan.

  • Yeah, acoustic Airbag and/or acoustic Twisted Words would be amazing. :)

  • dude you blow my mind all the god damn time

if you can do the acoustic airbag from cambridge im pretty sure i would fly to you and give you a man hug

  • Nice work Warren!

  • Really really cool song and brilliant tutorial as always! Please please do Mouse dog bird from the Cambridge concert as well! That would be fantastic!

  • That was quick! Thanks!
