Why would LTTE demand for a own country?? Even in India we live united with different cultures around.. Same should happen with Srilanka too.. Likewise instead of demand for different country & going against the government.. Y would dont they ask for their basic rights & grow their country unitedly?.. @sriram777rrc Because Tamil people's basic rights have been denied by sri lanka since sri lanka(sinhala) independence. root cause is that sinhala people are taught that tamil people are invaders and god gifted this island to sinhala people only. this is written in their so called holybook maha vamsa and is being preached in school and by monks. the govt just enacts this non sense ideology. so the tamils are looked upon as foreigners. but the truth is tamils are living since pre historic period.
