I could do this at my home.... Just take a good picture of the area you want to turn "invisible" and get a projector to project that same image , adjusting the projector, to overlay exactly, the real objects......then just show off, that's why the guy doesn't appear...it's not dificult...

This is real! I read about it at Times magazine November 2003 Coolest inventions. It uses projection to create the camouflage. I think its not yet practical cause you need to have the projector in front of you always. Very cool invention!

The ball, block and coat are bright green/blue. The green screen effect is then applied with 50% opacity. Makes it appear invisible.
And i worked it out all by myself :D

In short, the visual illusion is made by retro-reflective material and a half-mirror.
