i'm a girl from california and i'm 15 years old, and in my area i found out that a bunch of schools were selling wristbands to fundraise for japan. i am never one to volunteer but i was so devastated by what happened that i volunteered to be the sponsor to sell at my school. in one week we made and donated $3000, and made an effort again a few weeks ago and earned $5000!

i still pray for everyone in japan, AND others suffering from any disasters.

Our school did a ''Help Japan Day''

We had to be in groups and we had to make our own idea of making money it was like a fair!:D, we invited people from the area (also friends, family etc) there were so many people who came. Obviously there were those group of selfish students who don't care about what happened in Japan and just mucked about but the rest of us did our best!Our school raised £2000+and was sent to Japan:)

My friends and I also donated our own money to British Red Cross :3

Just got back from Chiba last week. Praying and thinking of Japan every day. I'm trying to start an organization to help people that are fleeing Japan with no place to go. It's difficult to get support from larger groups but there are many good people here in Minnesota U.S.A. If you know of anyone that is leaving Japan with no plans or place to go, we can host about 10 people here in Minnesota that I know of so far. 1 family (Close friend of mine) can host 3-4 people (preferably) a family.
