There's alot better things to be than some half-bit Diclo. Like...a Cubi, for instance. Wings (usually with beautiful color schemes), incredible lifespan, the power to manipulate the thoughts and dreams of others and change shape at will, and the convenience of never having to eat or sleep, since all sustenance would be gleaned from ambient or directed emotions.
