These would have been awesome titles to use. I know obviously David Tennant was The Doctor at the time hence why his titles would be used but these titles would have been brilliant even if it was just for all the kids to see the older Dr Who intro and all the adults could have whooped if they felt like it XD

For me the most impressive thing with this is not the Tenth Doctors star form (though that is great) but how seamless you made the intro of Howell's theme from a Four bar to an eight bar, you'd swear it was always like that. Fantastic work.

Do later Peter Davison episodes have a different baseline in the intro compared to the earlier ones? I noticed it's generally deeper and the "bends" are more noticeable

No, the music was mixed from the remastered Theme Music Video, a feature on both the Doctor Who DVDs - Castrovalva & Four To Doomsday. The original was lighter in weight, like you say due to the mono mix - as they were in the early 1980s. Stereo music wasn't really part of Doctor Who until Sylvester McCoy's era, post-1987.

I am trying to put myself into the titles what software did you use please. Adobe After Effects with the Matt doesn't appear to work also it is constant throughout the titles where as I want mine to appera like yours breifly please help out thanks

Well done but (and I mean this only constructively, I did enjoy this:) )...some suggestions:

1) The font's a little off, yours is a bit too big and squared off compared to Howell theme's version.

2) To match with Davison, maybe a head shot of Tennant could be used instead but well-done with the effects on that picture.

Yeah, I agree. The 70s intros with Pertwee and Baker were good, but I absolutely love the 80s mixes, with T. Baker, Davison, and C. Baker. Two thumbs up on this vid!
