  • I hate LSU and Im a SC fan but I even got to admit that an awesome play!

  • It's a little something called collage football, do u know the rules women?

  • no way has he seen oceans 11

  • Yeah it should have been ruled down the holders knee was on the ground when he took the snap

  • @knkgoblue its not down unless hes touched dumbass women

  • should have been called dead....the holders knee was down when he took the snap...

  • @Buehlerpalooza so then shouldnt the ball be dead everytime theres a field goal?

  • @Buehlerpalooza

You are an idiot. But it looks like sarcasm. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

  • he used to be a RB in youth

  • daaaaaaammn, whats more important than that sick play is that am the 300,000 viewer :D

  • Even the "old ball coach" had to laugh at that one!

  • South Carolina's coach was like, " These sneaky Mothaf#c%@$......

  • Never gets old. Lol. Geaux Tigers!!!

  • GEENUS.!!

  • the kicker is awesome

  • that play still haunts me : (

  • Look at his stats before he kicks it it says he only attempted one field goal and missed it and he missed 42 total so he has faked 43 field goals isn't that suspicious

  • @Luke35and12 1 Field goal THAT DAY and he missed from 42 YARDS

  • You know, I've watched this play a bunch of times... and that was the first time I noticed the guy dressed in all pink behind the end zone. Photographer? Easter bunny? A Christmas Story fan? All of the above?

  • @bsl05 its a cameraman with a poncho on, it was pouring down rain that game

  • @shannacrossleyfan08 I love LSU, and that was a beautiful play.

  • Omg

  • best play ever

  • You could tell something was up, the kicker looks awfully fidgety before the play... more so than usual for a kicker.

  • this is taken from a Q&A website I found hosted by reputable NFHS and NCAA referee Curt Johnson.

  • the trickster gets tricked

  • Can anyone explain how a holder with one knee on the ground and then touching the ball on the ground is not ruled down. When I first saw this play there was no answer and still to this day no one has been able to explain why this play wasn't called down.

  • @cadvan3 i dont think hes called down because then every FG attempt will be called down. i think if he gets up then gets back down, then the play will be called down

  • @cadvan3

Question: In a fake placement must the holder's knee be off the ground before he catches the snap?

Answer: NCAA rules: The holder is not down if he catches the snap with his knees on the ground, as long as there is a player in position to kick the ball. It is not required that a kick actually be attempted. So once the holder has the ball he may place and hold the ball for the kicker, OR: He may pass, handoff, etc. from his knees, or he may rise to advance, pass, handoff, etc

  • Football team used it, Game winning touchdown, thank you!!

  • Gotta love the kicker just handing the ref the ball afterwards.

  • Where are ur facts? Cuz I'm the dumb one huh? Interesting.

  • Auburn invented that one. Your welcome lol

  • At Mraufanatic. That was a good try but next time you try to find a fault with LSU, ya might wanna get ur facts straight. You claim that auburn did this to us in 2007? Ok well Idk how we copied it if we played auburn on Oct20 2007 but we did this to SC on Sep22 2007. Get the hell outa here. GEAUX TIGERS!

  • @Jarhead2k10

get your facts straight before you make yourself look dumb.....sry too late

  • Auburn did that play AGAINST LSU in '07 and they copied it from Auburn when they did it on them.Type in this or copy and paste it and look for yourself. AU Damon Duval Fake aginst LSU.

  • I saw that game. I gotta hand it to them, well executed. I depsise LSU, though.

  • lol matt damon!

  • Well executed

  • That kicker is pretty damn quick.

  • I give Spurrier credit for not shoving his visor up les miles's ass

  • That's the SEC even the fucking kickers are fast

  • @se7envii7 sec is sloooow. the defenders are just reaaaallly slow

  • @IAMBOOGiNS HAHA yeah that's one way to look at it.

  • lol

  • I'm wasn't surprised Les Miles ran this play. I mean we're talking about the man who eats grass during the game.

  • @TheOfficialPGH gotta admit he knows how to win

  • I THINK MILES GOT THIS FROM TUBERVILLE

  • Never realised a fake fg was considered a trick play??

  • @budboy1988 i agree

  • same play in 2010 worked

  • Im a bama fan but this still deverves a roll tide:)

  • @Theeben96 haha nice. I am a big fan of fans like you.

  • Comment removed

  • @sgtmjames . He missed a 42 yarder, not 42 field goals.

  • LSU!!!!!! go tigers

  • 2rd best play ever if u want to see the best play ever search of Best Catch Ever?! - Morgan State Player Makes Unreal Catch! but i love me some lsu

  • @Jacen230 NUHUH

  • @Jacen230 NUHUH

  • Dang. Watch the one they did against florida. It hit the ground and bounced up!

  • @tanmac00 but it latteraled.

  • thats sad when the kicker scores...

    good play thoo

  • I just had a revelation, if a team ever needs a replacement runningback, they just need to call up one of those cameramen from the show cops. The cameramen who often outrun both the trained police officers, and the criminals they film.

You'll know what I mean if you've ever payed attention to the fact the suspects are in sight more often than the cops after the chase starts.

  • nc state just tried this

  • not a trick play its a fake field goal

  • @athletes987 which is a trick play because a field goal is technically a play

  • I see a lot of trick plays on here that are crap because it involves screwing around before the snap...This is a classic!

  • it's funny how people think LSU is good but they only win because of trick plays, such as this and against UF

  • @Andydag904 last time I looked the rules don't say you score any less no matter how you put the ball over the end zone line.

And trick plays have been part of football long before we were born.

  • @Tellgryn im not sayin that trick plays are bad, im just saying it should'nt get u respect if thats what u have to do to win

  • what year was that

  • @weeman728 2007

  • lol that little toss was amazing haha

  • The best part was Spurrier trying not to smile.

  • miles didnt invent this one. Tommy Tuberville and Auburn did it first against LSU. round 2000-01

  • @ryan7907 War eagle

  • he lifts his knee off the ground so he isnt down

  • how come the play isnt called dead...#15 gets the ball but before he pitches it he has the ball with his knee on the ground...any explanations?

  • He missed a 42 yard field goal earlier that game, not that he missed 42 field goals

  • when the kicker missed 42 fgs it's not realy a gamble to run that lol

  • Oh my god.... i saw this exact same play yesterday when they played florida

  • ラストのドヤ顔が可愛い!

  • yea haha miles prolly just made up some bullshit play after being stopped on 3rd down."just throw behind you and run kid"

  • that was sick!

  • LOL one of the best trick plays i've seen. i laugh every time i see this play lol

  • too bad u cant use that in high school!

once your knee is down the play is over...

  • Wow

  • @Aflacgirl3viewer sdgsfd

  • Geaux Tigers!

  • LSU fell in love with this play ever since Auburn used it against them in 1999. See "Auburn vs LSU Fake Field Goal"

  • Amazing that it worked. The guy rushing from the side didn't even realize what was happening.

  • That was incredibly smooth!

I wonder how many times that didn't work in practice.

    That kicker can run too!

  • @Chopin742 Yeah that was a really awesome play. I bet what really sells it is that number 15 took the time to place it on the ground, cause you know everyone is just watching the ball. Next thing you know, woop, it's gone lol

  • hey Louisiana state. im a hawkeye. do u remember the capital one bowl?

    hehehe

  • @ilovechickenwingsgeg

hey when was the last time iowa won

    a national championship?

lsu has won 2 one in 2003 and one in 2007

  • lol im only an iowa fan cuz i live in iowa city.

    im a trojan bro

  • @dontdrance LSU has won three.

  • Auburn ran this on LSU one year.

  • LSU`s kicker is running for his life lol

  • I was there,it was so awsome.

  • LSU's incredible 2007 season began with this play. After this, even when everything seemed lost, the magic never left the team. By the time these Tigers reached the BCS Championship Game, Ohio State seemed like a middle school team. A true miracle season.

  • haha fucking retard they're wearing helmets they have no peripheral vision

  • LoL, all you people saying it's hours of practice and attempts....it's really not if the holder is in any way athletic he will be able to use his peripheral vision to make the play every time.

  • I hate LSU, but that was a beautiful play.

  • Makes me wonder why people don't do more trick plays.

  • @1337Vivian Mostly cuz trick plays are risky, and with College ball getting as money oriented as NFL, mistakes become very expensive, and coaches generally like their jobs. Every once in a while they pay off though.

  • @HateMachine, such a shame even College Football is getting to be like that...

  • @1337Vivian That it is. A damn shame. But that's the nature of things. All about money.

  • It really doesn't have all that much to do with money. There's no rule in the NCAA, or in the channels broadcasting that says if a trick play dosent work the coach is fired. It's all dependant on the school. Most schools save their trick plays for the very end when desperate measures are needed. No reason to tip your hand everytime you line up for a field goal and show them what sort of tricks you have. Also Boise State runs trick plays almost once every game or two.Ignorant to say none do.

  • yea my school does that play too and it's awesome

  • my school runs this play and it works everytime

  • thats a risky play just throwing it over ur head...u just gotta hope that EVERYTHING is evend out right.

  • @xrwxxunknown thats why you practice....

  • @xrwxxunknown its not risky, u practice it till u get it to the perfect spot its easy....get real noob

  • @xrwxxunknown u do know the coach is les miles.... with him you never know

  • nice :)

  • that was so cool

  • spurrier doesnt like the trickery

  • LMAO!!! I kno dat SC coach was mad as hel...

  • my team did that like 5 times. the coach put it in after this game

  • i love it when the announcer at the actual game goes... SCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRREEEEEE!!!

  • That was awesome.

  • pretty risky play

  • but it worked

  • haha i like tht

  • It's not that difficult lol... He just throws it over his head and David runs under it and grabs it out of the air.

  • the fact that they did this to spurrier makes it more awesome.

  • that was awesome, that must've taken forever to get the timing right

  • not really. my team ran that play successfully in a week of practice

  • that kicker has some wheels!

  • #6!!!!! Ma Numbaa!!!!!

  • YO MOMMA

  • thats hours of practice put into a gametime situaton. that one play took probably 100 attempts to make the coaches feel like they could successfully run it.

    good for LSU

  • yeah right, les miles' crazy ass probably thought that up on third down

  • lol

  • @jaypeddie na they stole it from auburn we used that on them the year before

  • Just like flipping the money in Oceans 11?

  • i know right, what a dumb thing to say

  • hihi the trckster gets tricked! irony... :P

  • This is my favorite fake fg ever!!GEAUX TIGERS!!!And watch for Dorsey and Tyson Jackson on Kansas Chiefs D-Line..they're gonna be cold!!!!!!!!

  • geaux tigers

  • well you can suck a dick nobody gives a fuck

  • now thats how you run a fake fg. bloody awesome

  • That's some pretty decent speed for a kicker.

  • yea lol, that kicker turned on the jets

  • This was a great call by the Hat, especially since Spurrier is known for his trickery too.

  • lus?

  • this was the breaking point in that game. the worst part is the outside man ran right by the ball before he knew what happened

  • nice!

  • fuck u dude. SEC's the best conference in the country. i was at this game haha. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

  • SEC sucks!

  • you suck fuck hole

  • Not really, it's really the most competitive conference for college football.

  • you can tell SC's coach was livid on the inside, ha. maybe the Lions should use that once in a while so the can score some td's. for as strong as hansen's leg is, he could be make it.

  • pretty fast for a kicker

  • haha whats collage?

  • Its a type of art, where you integrate a myriad of things and blend them together, if i remember from primary school...

  • just imagin if the throw was bad

  • I've seen the same play in the NFL and I never get tired of watching kickers run.

  • prefect.

  • that kicker is unusually fast!

  • ha thats what i thought

  • Its Collage :P

  • Nah it's College..

  • that kicker was hauling lol

  • Yeh the defensive corrdinator from LSU now coach of nebraska tried that play lol and it it got taken to the house by opposite team lol...

  • lol i rember another team tried to do that and a person on D stole the rock while it was in the air lol

  • We tryed this in our highschool game.

  • howd that work for you?

  • It worked =D

  • genius..

  • that was genies.

  • LSU is the best! They won the chik-fil-a bowl! YA! Go LSU!!!!!!!!

  • Les Miles = Genius.

  • hahaha i love the radio commentary of this where the lsu announcer is like "how ya like that ol ball coach" hahaha i know its on this but he says it right when they show that priceless look on spurriers face when he knows hes beat lol
