This was such a copout way to explain Sherri's departure from Dibiase's side. I mean, how many guys in real life would gracefully allow their woman to leave them for another man -- especially after being their sugar daddy! I realize that both Shawn and Dibiase were heels, but it's not like WWE had never done heel vs heel matches in the past. Savage and Jake Roberts come to mind, as does Bret Hart vs Bad News. HBK vs Dibiase would have definately been a featured match in Shawns DVD if it happnd.

A Shawn vs Marty at WM was a no-brainer. But because Marty was such a fuck up outside the ring, the feud ended up being shelved for nearly a year, and by the time he returned, the WWE was undergoing another transitionary phase.

@wwfClassicRewinds I like what they did with Dibiase. He was getting up there in age but still had a good character. Plus IRS wasn't really getting over, so putting those two together made alot of sense. And they were an excellent tag team I thought and it extended Dibiase's career.
