@ashwednesday69 Spleen and Ideal may be truly sophomoric in the sense that it is their second album, but it stands out. The trombones alone are enough to set the album apart. Then, the jazzy drums on Advent with Brendan's lyrical voice and lest we forget Lisa channeling Mesmerism. Wait, one more thing, the album cover is in my top 5.

Yeah, I like the cocteau twins as well. I have most of their albums from the eighties. I also have an album by This Mortal Coil-It'll end in tears, but the music is a bit different from this piece.

Are there lyrics for this song or it's just instrumental, voice, acting with random words like Cocteau twins? Frankly saying i listen to TMC for 10 years and still have no idea what is she saying. At the beginning it sounds like. "Please stay stay 2x, stay warm. Misty light's c..."

we all have a fear of the unknown and I think the music is meant to inspire you to explore the unknown in your own life. When we confront our fears we find out how great we really are and we are free to live our dreams instead of stayed trapped in our nightmarish realities. There's this great quantum physics professor out there who tells us "The trick is not to be in the know, it's to be in the Mystery" To Live in the Mystery of Life and to marvel at the wonders of the creator :)
