@hicklinc pretty bad if you are going to drink this plain with just water. you want to either mix it with a flavored beverage like Gatorade or something. about 2 tsp with at least 32 oz of gatorade. or mix with a flavored protein powder and you won't even know its there.
Hey man, just to let you know I live and train in Japan and just last week Ajinomoto pulled their entire BCAA product lineup from stores. Apparently there was a country wide recall, something to do with some products unsafe for consumption. Im a little bummed though Ive been using them for a while and they are great, dissolve very nicely and taste good. :-(
@DAR47812 Well they're back now. I was incorrect in my above statement. One of my students who works for Ajinomoto said there was a very high amount of sweetener in the old formulation that caused the product to be classified as a "non-food product" more like a pharmaceutical or medicine. They were paying high trade taxes because of the classification so they wanted to save money and re-formulated with a different sweetener in lower amounts. They're back though so its all good.
