@Hulkamania4eva By me saying sunny was in the right place at the right time doesn't mean I think sable wasn't. Again I dont need a history lesson. Sable was the first true diva. She posed for one of the be selling playboys of all time. And held the womens title for 6 months. Sunny's career is far less decorated, and that's just fact.
@Daavidd4 ..@hulkamania4eva is right. Sunny actually came up through developmental, Sable was just Mero's wife.
Sunny was offered Playboy. FACT. And it would have sold very well, trust me.
Furthermore, the arguement isn't who's best its who's FIRST and the fact is Sunny was first. Period. She's the one who changed things from "valet" to "diva". Who cares if Sable held the belt? Torrie Wilson sucked as a wrestler, she's still an iconic diva. And Sunny was the first. End of story
@DUBtheTIGER It doesn't matter how the got in to the business. Look at Trish, a fitness model. The fact of the matter is. Sunny was NOT a diva. She was a manager. (A good manager, but a manager only) Sable coined the term "Diva" If sunny was the true original and the mold for the divas we see today, we would only have good looking managers. We don't we have "sexy" women in the ring, winning belts. Whowas the first to combine the two? Sable. Sable is the TRUE original diva, that's "end of story"
@Daavidd4 Sable wasn't the first to combine those two things. Alundra Blayze was. And to a smaller extent, Sherri. But in my opinion, that isn't what makes them Divas, it's more about the "sex sells" attitude, with photo shoots, purely eye-candy segments, etc... Not every Diva wrestled. Trish, Lita, sure. But what about Torrie and Stacy? They couldn't work.
@Daavidd4 But I wanna make it clear that in my opinion, BOTH Sunny and Sable deserve a hell of a lot of credit, because it's between the two of them that the modern diva was born. Since I don't think a diva needs to wrestle, that's why I ultimately choose Sunny. I think Sable is the archetype for the divas but Sunny laid the foundation for her. She was the first woman to get TV time just for being sexy. But I'm not knocking Sable at all.
@Daavidd4 First off, Tammy Lynn Sytch aka Sunny was working for BOTH WWF and ECW and she's the SAME woman on both counts. She could head to WCW, she went there later, and bitchslap Ric Flair if she wanted to. I bet Chris Candido would love to see that. I would disagree with you about her being useless.
@Rlotpir1972 Why? Because she was around when wrestling was at it's peak? I bet you believe a lot of the sivas are useless these days don't you? Put sunny in today's group of divas and what d you have? A woman who can't wrestle. She may be good on mic, but since when did divas, other than lay cool these days get promos? Never. She would be pointless. She was in the right place at the right time. I'm just saying, the woman is not a nice person and need to learn to keep her fat mouth shut.
@Daavidd4 obviously didn't see her work in SMW Tammy was a very talented manager and when WWE hired her just to be an anouncer, eventually she became manager of 3 sets of tag team Champions for a reason
@Hulkamania4eva Yes, she was talented as a manger and had decent ring skills. But the girl isn't a good person. She puts herself above everyone. She didn't help create the division we see today. She isn't the original diva (Sable was the first woman to call herself one, therefore she is the first. logic) She was a manager for tag teams. She was successful. These days, she'd have no real place in the WWE. She started nothing. She was just a pretty blonde that got the fans attention for 3 years.
@Daavidd4 Wrong again. Sunny was managing etc before Sable started working, was more searched person on AOL and the first Diva to be offered Playboy, which she declined. You don't have to like Tammy, but you shouldn't let your opinion bias the way you present facts.
@Hulkamania4eva Sable entered in 1996. Im aware she was later than Tammy. All i'm saying is, sable was the first woman to be called a "diva". WWE uploaded a youtube video even stating it. And showing the promo in which she stated her self "The Diva Of the World Wrestling Federation" She was the true original "diva" go youtube it. That's fact. No opinion. I know what sunny is. Where she has been and what she has done. I don't need a history lesson.
@Daavidd4 How is it just right place, right time if she was doing good work on in SMW, earning a spot in the WWF when the WWF was not making any money? You are just full of hot-air at this point, biased by your emotional issue with Tammy Sytch. Sunny was doing the photo's shoots and all of that before Sable, so how is Sable the original Diva? None of your claims make any sense man. You may not need a history lesson but for damn sure you need a lesson in logic and common sense.
@Hulkamania4eva when on EARTH did i mention her working at SMW? she worked there... and? She isn't a nice person. She only cares about herself. And thinks she started a division. She didn't. She was a semi-successful manager. With nice mic skills. In this day and age, we don't have female managers. We have female in ring performers. Sunny didn't start that. She was good for what she was. She was in the business at the right time, for the right reasons. These days, sunny would be obsolete.
@Daavidd4 you said she was right place, right time. Got her start during wrestlings peak. That is false, as she worked in SMW and then into the WWE during the wrestling depression where only SMW made money. She managed 3 tag team champions in the WWF and even did some production work in ECW before her demons took over
@Hulkamania4eva she was in the right place at the right time. SMW was where she was found by WWF. Therefore, she was in the right place at the right time. She filled a gap. WWF saw her and used her as "Tamara Murphy" im well aware of my facts and i have the all in place. All im saying is, she isn't as big of a success as she and her fans believe she is. She had a good run. But she should NOT be classed as the original diva. Nor should she feel responsible for the women we see on Tv today.
@Daavidd4 Just need to add that Sable got on television because she was Marc Mero's wife and Vince and Kevin Dunn got a hard on for her. So add hypocrite to the list of labels I have for you lol. If anyone was right place, right time it was Sable lmao!

@DUBtheTIGER you have valid points, but like you said it's a matter of opinion. Sable, in my opinion, was the first true "diva" :)
