You dont even need to buy them since they are now public domain because Burrough's has been dead a long time. Im read them all on my phone atm.. But the stories of space pirates and heros and princesses are really for 13 year olds.. the style of the writing is not enthrawling for adults.. boys yes..

I loved this book, but really, did Burroughs have any idea what kind of lurid art his Martian idea of clothing would inspire?

RU kidding? For that time period, almost 'all' book cover art was lurid. ERB's books weren't the only ones with scantily clad heroes and heroines. And I'm old enough to remember reading some of these books from my granddad's library. LOL.

IMDb has a board for the movie.  Carson here has exceeded the big H-wood studios by getting his Barsoom project done, something H-wood has been unable to do since the 1930's.
