  • It's a fascinating way to see how the manger scene is put together. It's funny to see the friars coming down the ladder because it looks as if they are sliding down instead of going one rung at a time.

  • great job merry christmas 2009

  • Oh little town of Bethlehem, how still do we see the lie; above thy deep & dreamless sleep, the silent stars go by...

  • ¡Qué bonito! Y andan descalzos los frailes.

  • wow

  • Christmas Blessings to these wonderful men and their beautiful creche! The true meaning of Christmas!

  • That settles it! Next year, I'm hiring the friars to come over and set up my nativity. Great job Franciscans! Pax et bonum and Merry Christmas!

  • You mean those guys really do dress like that all the time? And if they're into the "old" ways, then what's with that aluminum ladder?

luno44- LOL- these men are Catholic, not Amish.

You can live in a modern world and still be traditional. Hence, this beautiful VIDEO depicting something extremely TRADITIONAL.

These priests are a Franciscan order, it was Saint Francis who was inspired to create the first creche/manger scene to commemorate the birth of Jesus on Dec. 25

    Ave Maria!

  • wow, I got tired just watching you guys do all that work!
