Amazing looking ship,but absolutely a joke what you get for the price. $118 did someone write here? TRY Closer to 200,118 must have been a TOYS R US price or something,and I guarantee they did not last long in normal stores.

No lights or sounds,that handle looks really DUMB and I bet it does not retract,next to no features.

what annoys me is the forward landing leg that contains the trigger to release the wings doesnt fold up.

i guess it really is the same model from the "real" vintage line. they could have done a bit more on the inside...how long will it be till they decide to make another one that is so big that you cant hold it without straining urself?

I can answer my own question now because I bought one on Amazon. It is kinda the same scale only not quite as big as it should be. I know it's still really big but I wish it was even bigger, like the exact same scale as in the movie. You can tell what size it should be if you watch Vader getting off the shuttle on Endor or when the Emperor arrives at the second Death Star. I love it and it's definitely big, but I still wish it was bigger.

Like would legacy collection figures fit in the Imperial Shuttle and would the shuttle look right next to Vader's Sith Starfighter? Just Curious...

just one little thing to point out, as the proud owner of the vintage Shuttle, the guns on each wing of your modern shuttle are on the wrong way round. the barrels should be near to the centre not out toward the wing, they just need popping off and putting back on the right way round. then the guns can swivel up into landing position.

I recently bought one of these. I remember the original vintage line, but being a young schoolboy at the time, couldn;t afford one and as they were brought out just prior to the line being discontinued, I was never able to get one.

So when I saw Toys-R-Us had a load of new ones in I simply couldn't resist. Also got myself a couple of Imperial Officers to put in the cockpit.

Ive got an Imperial Shuttle myself , much smaller thou , it's the Reveal Easy Kit version , and has an Imperial Officer piloting it who has an Imperial Stormtrooper on the other seat as well which im sure is a mistake , but your's is way better then the one i own .

I also have the Revell easy kit Shuttle. I love the detail on it. Although I really don't like the On or Off landing gear. I wish you could alternate with it. Unfortunately mine have snapped off but yeah, I do prefer this one.

You can usually find them on eBay, but they go for the big bucks there. I got mine from Toys R Us here in the UK for £49.99 so maybe check the TRU's in your area & you may get lucky.
