Ok so for everyone who is confused as to what #5 Craig does in the band, he is a very intricate part, he used to do Samples,media,Dj and electronics but then they got sid and they divided the stuff (Craig had alot to do so he got sid) He samples (takes a sound, or a pice of something and plays it live) But he does more in the studio as a proccesor and keyboards, pianos ans wrighting songs.

Well he plays some piano parts live and he samples the pulse of the maggot speach. He also does the whole 742617000027. Stuff like that

@pandaman06 no, he did the dj and sample things, before sid joins. after sid was involved, craig only does samples. he never played guitar for slipknot, Patrick M. Neuwirth, Kun Nong and Donnie Steele were the only guys who played guitar for slipknot ! ^^

@Bieber1994 NO,NO,NO he never did dj that was always sid and yes pandaman is right craig did play guitar but got moved to sampling when mick joined, the reason they moved him to sampling was they realised that they had to many samples and they could'nt play them all live thats why he plays sampling and sid helps him in studio from time to time with sampling

because some keyboards can record samples onto the keys, which may be easier to trigger or manipulate live.

Some keyboards even have sample pads.

nohe really doesnt, you obviosly dont know the difference between a Mixer and a sampler.

a sampler puts sounds onto the songs. Sid adds wierd sounds on stage like on the heretic anthem like 8 7 6 6 6 5 4 3 2 1.
