  • The best way to eat a carp is to give it to a Mexican or African American in Cajun country.

  • i want all the carp in Australia

  • hey does anyone know if i is legal to bowfish in Queensland?

  • @Danjaboyz sure is mate, get into it : )

  • cant u fish the old way.....idiots

  • @Tonoba well this is eliminating invasive species, learn the facts before you start name-calling

  • @Tonoba actually in australia its too easy to catch carp on a rod and reel, most waters are that carp ridden that all you will catch in a session is carp. and they don't respond to lures all that well. i've done abit of bow fishing and its alot more hands on, don't get me wrong i enjoy bait fishing, sitting back with a beer watching the world go by, but its not exactly skillfull at least here its not, the bloody things are everywere. bow fishing is alot harder than it looks.

  • @Tonoba That would be much to slow to accomplish the point. Eradication. The entire idea is to completely remove them from the waterways.

  • Best way to eat a carp is to put it on a board season it all up stick it in the oven throw the carp away and eat the board

  • grind them up and use for gardening.the omega 3 oil and nutrients are good for soil.and attracts worms

  • Carping, the sport of champions. take out your canoes, yours bows/spears and your golf clubs and go crazy!

  • Nice shot. We've got Koi Carp running wild in NZ. We have a big shoot up every year. Last year 60 shooters nailed 5 1/2 ton over two days it was all turned in burley. Apparently you can eat them, but the effort required to clean them isn't worth it.

  • i cant find a carp to shoot, but i kill gator gar with my recurve. lots of fun.

  • cool nice shot

  • yes, they are good eating if prepared properly,i think if the aussies want to get rid of this invader, they should take our advice and chow on them!

  • if you get carp from clean rivers they taste fantastic,or catch them alive and put them in an ariated tank for 24 hours, try them covered in olive oil, garlic and sea salt, wrap em in foil and roast them until they are cooked, you would be suprised at how good they are, eaten every day across lots of europe,(especially eastern)

i had it in france on holiday, and it was the nicest fish ive ever eaten!!

  • @superpsych0delia Carp really? I always thought they would have tasted like shit!! Some people tell me they taste like mud lol.

  • are they the same as european common carp, they can grow huge (80lb+) and are very tasty!

  • i agree that they get big but the taste like mud

  • yes in australia we hav the pest named european carp they dont get as big (still good for light line sport) but they taste like mud and are full of bones so its not really a table fish in australia and its also illegal to release carp in australian waters cause they a pest

  • nice shot, are they good eating fish??

  • come on bitch ill be waiting for you with my 12 guage

  • good work i would hate carp to get a real hold down here in Taz

  • hell yea man kill them all!!!!!!!!

  • Carp are an introduced species to Australia, they have destroyed much of our fresh water river systems and pose a major threat to our native fish. It is illegal in Australia to return a carp to the water. The birds and flies finished them off.

  • @tobyio they do the same freakin thing here carp are from china or japan or sometin like that they dont belong in america they are killing off the food sources for bass. and i think that people would much rather fish for bass the carp...so learn ur facts.

  • @tobyio too right

  • actually mate, you get in a fair bit of trouble if you get caught throwing the carp back, they are a pest fish that were introduced to aust. and eating all the food leaving our smaller native fish starve.

should do your research before posting comments.

  • oh to avoid any confusion about my previous post, it was for "escudjo".

    i was agreeing with "tobyio"

  • @escudjo I cut them up and use them as chum for gar
