What a great interview with a terrific, underated actor!! His Dr. Smith remains one of the great icons from TV. He's exactly as you would expect. Witty, intelligent. Great guy!1
This is one incredible person. Jonathan Harris, is someone that no one, and I mean not a soul in the world can win over or defeat Jonathan Harris in a debate, or intellectual contest. His cleverness is the key that makes up for not needing a study on any given subject matter that could come up in a contest. He always has a rebuttal.
I had this on a dvd-r and had difficulty transfering it to digital at the time that i could only get the two sections. I tried to join it but it didn't work. I could prob redo it now but it's up already so never mind
@Cathie8791 yes -these days the tv creaters dont let characters develop-anybody can pick up anyones script and recite it--all the 60s shows had protaginists and antagonist-one could develop pivotal roles--these days they are more in cgi-fx-and lacking in good storylines--the talent just isnt there--joe flynn was another as well as frank sutton in good solid supporting roles..
Great man! I thank you, Jonathan Harris, for developing my interest in the morphology and semantics of English words. As a kid I marvelled at your outrageous outburst and my love affair with the English language began. Vale, my friend...

Why did you split it in two? The total comes to less than 10 minutes.

Terrific actor. A pure treat. What he did with Smith was absolutely brilliant. So sad there is no one like him today. What a voice.

A very powerful presence as an actor. And was still very much on the ball later in life as this clip shows.

I love this man. A brilliant actor. Many people are not aware he is Jewish, and honed his acting skills at the Yiddish Theater in New York.
