French song is shorter than japanese.

@Zwan2prod I meant as in TV version. Japanese was 1:30 (full version would be over 5 minutes I think) and French was either a minute or under a minute (they don't have a full version that I'm aware of....).

This was fantastic.I mean,it could if been horrible.Space racing...totally cliche and played out and stupid...yet it was a fantastic,entertaining show with great main cast(I love the two computer guys) and secondary characters.It got deep with the story telling,etc...and it was beautiful to look at!

@eligirl100 It's not the same person (though I thought so too at first). Japanese singer is Akino, and the French one is Christelle Labonne if I'm not mistaken. They have very similar voices, which goes to show that the mixed French/Japanese production team took good care to stay true to Ms. Kanno's vision of the song for both broadcasts. I wish a full version with mixed French / Japanese vocals existed...

oh my god, when i first saw this show, i thought it was a floating version of hot wheels, not really into it. and then after a few years i rewatched a bit of it, and i finally grasped the concept and everything. I meant that it ended, and the plot was not stretched because they suddenly decided to make more episodes or made it a happy ending because the original was too sad. The ending was good (I mean the quality), sad and totally unpredictable. It's like in Fallout3 you die or you live, but someone has to die. Not many stories end like this.

This show was and is AWESOME. Beautiful animation, excellent voice acting, gorgeous music, deep and engaging plot, varied and emotional characters, perfect writing... this is how all childrens' shows should be made. Kids aren't stupid; they know quality when they see it. They know a shitty cash-in when it shows itself. Why do you think Oban Star Racers did so well on Toon Disney? Because it was an awesome show. This is one series I would not mind having on DVD.
