Yes, mate, you are truly good. I have been playing 14 years and in a soul band for the last year, but wish I could get the same feel for a song as you do. Good luck to you.
I'm not tryin to be a hater, I love the tenor startin to get a lot more popular and a lot more use in more genres but if you know what scale your playin and you know what notes will sound right and wrong why the basic rhythms the whole time and especially in the same octave? you should check out how charlie parker "Bird" does phrasing too. sounds pretty good though
Its REALLY good but (but you should turn your volume up a lil on the sax) also when you play palm D, E, and F keep your fingers closer to the keys in the front...
hey, if you haven't heard of justin cron, he improvs songs just like you. I think you might want to check him out and see what he does. crizonproductions, i think is his tag. anyway, goodjob, keep it up.
have you ever heard summer romance (anti-gravity song) of incubus!? a great solo of sax in the middle, and final parts of the music... try to arrange it
about the sax arrangment. what i've learnt is that the sax has a time and place in a musical piece, basicly meaning that the sax can have its loud upfront solo, and be in the background when you think its right. just make sure you make it so that your building it up untill the solo part. :)
fair enough, i wanted it to be in the background this time, not front and center, as it would be in an actual arrangement, but i havent made up my mind yet if this works for a youtube video
Awesome vid man, a little hard to hear you at some points but that's what makes it good, 3:03 - 3:06 is fucking awesome.

No!!!!!!!!!!!! Listent to the real cats like Sonny Stitt, Parker, Getz, and Coltrane. Don't cave in to pop culture and its two chord progressions

you realize that blues is built around 1,4,5 chords right? the only difference is that all the chords have the flat 7th note added to them.
