what's the best place to get alot of lockpicks? I hav the skeleton key right now. i want to get the unbreakable perk ( lockpicks are unbreakable) so i need to level up my lockpicki to a 100 in order to level continue the questline. BTW: i have 200 somthing lockpicks right now

its a waste of gold and time. i could get a master easliy without having to use that many lock picks. and my lock picking is only up to apprentice lol

Get the skeleton key (End of thieves quest line), then just go around a city at night and open every merchant's house you can find. Usually they have a medium level lock on them to grant more exp. A lot of merchants also have multiple expert doors to also pick once you're inside. Once you get the skeleton key however, do not due the next quest after (you lose key)

I don't see the point of AFK grinding. If you're having so little fun with a game that you need to automate something to happen while you're doing something else, maybe the game isn't for you. I personally have a blast picking every lock in sight and I'm not particularly fussed if I don't have unbreakable picks or whatever. I was kinda sad when I got the Wax Key perk because it made things too easy, I enjoyed repicking the lock shown in the vid every time a new item was added...

@777Gianni777 Its not Unlimited, I had about 300 lockpicks in that video that i had bought from vendors, anything over 99 will show as 99+.

This method seems pointless. Its faster if you just level up with lockpicks the right way

@warnut8 Agreed, I've gotten to level 56 by just manually trying to unlock them. You get the bonus for failure, but a huge bonus for success. Just go around unlocking everything you can find. You get more loot and you don't feel like a cheat. I can now unlock Expert and Master locks by using maybe 5 and 10 locks respectively without the associated "X locks are easier to unlock" perk.

@nolan6195273 Thieve's Guild, the fence there gets a good supply of about 30 every few days (from what I can tell). Or you just pickpocket everyone you see and steal from every cupboard and whatnot. They'll probably have 1 or 2 lockpicks. If you're willing to put in the time, you can get a load of loot and skill levels just looking for the things.

Lockpick leveling was so much harder to AFK in Oblivion. Nice video though. Where did you get all your lockpicks from?

@Sephirot4678 Mostly from vendors, There's a vendor in thieves guild that usually has quite a few of them :)
