  • Hi, Kalaikia is a way to say or to write Callaecia ou Gallaecia. Well is belived that Galician Celts called Kalaikia to their country and "Gallaecia" is the Roman version of that place-name ou Country-name. Some people thinks that name is related to de Celtic Godess Cailleac, someothers to one of the Galician Celtic Tribes called "Cale" who lived in the area of Porto(northern Portugal).

  • Thank you very much! Please accept my warm greetings!

    Grazas! Saúdos!

  • Hello,

thank you for posting, this is a very interesting piece. Almost frightening but so magnetic.

I would really appreciate if someone more familiar with Galician sulture could help me a little bit with understanding this:

could you explain what "Kalaikia" means?

Does it mean Galiza/galego/galega? I did not find translation anywhere...

Thank you, please forgive my ignorance.

    Snow white regards from Finland
