@ometta7 I'm not trying to sound pushy or know-it-all-like, but in the film, it is addressed that GeneCo somehow manipulated the idea of surgery, seeing as it is so crucial during the film DUE to the organ failures, to also be a fashion statement, with 'designer hearts' available and eyes that can do more than just see (a la Blind Mag whose eyes show holographic images at will as well.)

The body parts weren't needed at the time to perfect society's image, they were needed to keep humanity from going extinct. In the context of what GraveRobber is saying, he sounds like he's talking about the epidemic of organ failures, rather than the cultural phenomenon that GeneCo became, so it seems out of place.

They recorded the song and then at the last minute they decided to show the Graverobber singing it, they recorded the Graverobber singing the song in one take. Everything else between the Graverobber singing was originally in the film, but originally they didn't plan on using this song during it.
