Great work out, been doing it for 3 weeks every other day and my family keeps asking me if I am taking steroids, definitely only 155 lbs and 5' 8'' and no roids just your work out.
This is really great i was trying to get my summer six pac and was doing just like 100's of regular crunches and i was getting strong but i wasnt really SEEING anything but this is intense and i enjoyed it verry much it really works
haha, I remember "coming up" with that oblique exercise when just trying to figure out how to feel something in the "side" muscle. This is the first time I've seen it incorporated somewhere.
There are 1000 of different ways to exercise the core; one way is to keep the shoulder blades off the ground. I have a series where you actually go below the neutral position and actually drop your shoulders below the hips and then come up 1/2 way into the crunch. You would do this on a bench with your shoulders off the board. Abdominal's can be done standing, on your side, on your knees...so the short answer is ~ no, you don't have to keep your shoulders off the floor while crunching.
Yes, I think it would be considered advanced, but people could try doing just a few reps of each set and work up to the more intense level. Remember you can always bend your knees to create a shorter lever, which would decrease the intensity.
not sure i can quite touch my toes like you but will give this a shot!

Just curious. How many non stop situps or leg raises can you do? I don't think any woman on Youtube has done 100 leg raises non stop.

btw, is it true that you always have to stop before your shoulderblades hits the floor when youre crunching?

Hi Rolandsc,
Yes, I think it would be considered advanced, but people could try doing just a few reps of each set and work up to the more intense level. Remember you can always bend your knees to create a shorter lever, which would decrease the intensity.

That looks like a pretty intense workout for the abs. Would you call that an advanced level workout?
