@Gimm2006 The original acupuncture schools in the U.S. were 500 hour schools with 280 anatomy and physiology with the rest in acupuncture training. The chiropractic DABCA requires 300 hours. 50% of licensed acupuncturists practicing to day graduated from the 500 hour schools. It has only been in the last 10 years that the 1200 hour + schools of acupuncture existed. Very few are 3000 hours and most of the extra training is in theory.
