I agree with what you say about 3d party presidential candidates. Here's a conspiracy theory I came up with all by myself: In the US Code, the Treasury is defined as the Federal Reserve. Hold that thought for a moment. The president, whatever his party, is surrounded day and night by big guys with automatic weapons--the Secret Service. Who does the Secret Service work for? The "Treasury" department. No president is ever going to undo the Federal Reserve.

I agree with in regards to the "chief whore", local democracy thing... however (and I hate to sound negative), I believe a revolution/genocide/civil war is imminent. I don't believe another election will occur before all hell breaks loose. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised at anything right now. It's a shame but I can't imagine that treaty being ratified without a war. At this point, it appears that's what they want.

I agree with you completely on local government. Locals around here are more interested in their TV's. So long as the sets get bigger & they get more channels they are happy.

I actually question if there will be another election period. Too much is moving too fast. I've never seen a president move on things so quickly.

Like I said on the last post, we are buying a lot of DURABLE things right now that will last decades to a lifetime.

We all have our unrealistic fantasies about utopia - none of them are happening and the reason is: greed, self interest, ego, power and hedonism. If we could eliminate these from human behavior (which I think is the goal of most religions) and replace them with compassion, caring, sharing and love we would live in utopia. Very good video. I think you're being some what unrealistic, as I don't think most Americans really care about voting and are still asleep at the switch, but I like where you're going. We have to work from the ground up. Trying to put someone in the Presidency is silly. They will just be circumvented anyway. What do you make of the Webbot predictions? I dont see anything going on that measures up to what Cliff referred to as basically life changing events over 10 days. I hope people don't try to "fit" events into the predictions.

When you speak of a third party candidate you have to remember that there is only one party with two heads - it is pre-determined; therefore, a third party is useless.

Most small retailers are now stuck with credit cards as they can't get loans - when all the card issuers go to 30% even for people with good credit like CIti has, game over.

Many contacts in Com RE say there developers, building owners, retailers cant get money, even when 100% leased positive cash flow etc. Some already have to walk away (in many cases from perfectly good properties). What a shame.

By June 1, this could be a very different country.

I agree with you as far as the "present system" we have. I believe that once we start to have an active direct democratic action, we will start to have the "city state" system that will replace the corruption we have now. It's success is based on our open and active practice of self protection and self determination.

I disagree that putting someone like ron paul in the white house wouldn't make a difference.

The problem isn't, in my opinion, that someone in the white house CAN'T make a difference cuz 'they' won't let him. The problem is 'they' would never let someone who would make a difference get in power in the first place, since, say, a libertarian is looked at as weird and unusual do to what's put out as normal by 'them.'

everyone seems to think they do. If they acted the way some think they do, it would be easy to figure them out and overthrow them. People don't realize how much something being considered normal influences people. All you need to do is make ideas you don't like seem weird, and you can bet they won't get through.
