@pisforpearl In the movie, Jackson and two of his friends are doing a fear study for a school project, and Abby (the girl) offers to have him interview her, but says she'd be more comfortable if he just did it as opposed to the other two. She was telling him a story about her first day of kindergarten and what she has to go through every day because of her appearence, and she was feeling vulnerable and just decided to kiss him, but he likes another one of his friends (as he said in the scene).
