  • This is the jam from1991, this used to be the track I pumped in the car headed out on the town on a Friday night, damn those were the days, this is grade A 90's music.

  • Takes me back to the good old days.....

  • Um...Video Soul....is what I have. I need to learn how to get it onto YouTube or upload it onto a computer so I can forward her a link or something. I wish I could just mail it to her.

  • Those girls were bad!!! But they didn't need the white people and other dancers in this video. They could have killed it by themselves! Terrible T is so sexy and Sweet LD got that onion!! Both of them could get it. I wonder what Terrible T say's when she looks back at all of these videos now that she's married. And where is Sweet LD now?

  • Sweet LD is married with children now.

  • Would someone plz post the high quality audio version?

  • i still remember this dance.......... like 18years later lol

  • I have a live performance on VHS of this song and Terrible T....Tears it off...She don't play when it came to the boogie....dancing up a storm it was almost frightening...I thought I heard thunder and saw strikes of lightening. Her hair came down and everything and that didn't stop her...there was no turning back.

  • Was it on Soul Train? If so, I was just reminding LD about that today.

  • @05Cinco05 i wanna see post it!!!!!

  • watch terrible t at 3:03 priceless!

  • damn they are too sexy in this video! big upgrade from the 80's to the 90's. they had it all, style, body, flow, and dance! and Sweet LO is thick as dat thang.

What ever happened to the other two girls?

  • Shake that booty!

  • the vid is totally rythm nation!

  • sweet l.d is just that SWEEEEEEET !!! and fine too

  • just watched Class Act. reminded me of this song! lol this that shit right here!

  • OMG! I LOVED this song and video when it came out. It is still a cool damn song and video. :D :D

  • This was my VERY favorite video by this group. I LOVED it and wished I would have known the choreography (maybe I could have recorded it on VHS, LOL).

It cracks me up how I've mentioned them every so often to people for the last 15 years and people look at me all crazy like, "I've never heard of them."

  • This is because all black female dance groups don't do that well. It's too common on a phenomenon.

Now, if those were white dudes dancing like that, they would be huge like N'Sync,Backstreet, and New Kids on the Block.

  • New Kids on the Block doesn't belong in this grouping for their dancing abilities.

  • i started the site its called oaktown 357 fansite on yahoo

  • Oh oh i wanna join!!! lol...whats the url?

  • i will be doing a yahoo group dedicated to them an sweetld has agreed to answer any questions that anybody has i will set up 1 day next week

  • COOL!!!!....Do we need to subscribe to your channel for updates?

  • Terrible T was the Beautiful one to me, I liked them both though.

  • Oaktown 357 is the bomb! Those girls can dance and perform.

  • I miss dancing like this! Then again, I do have my share in aerobic class, however, it is not as physical as before.

  • Hadn't heard this one before. If the rest of this album is like it's a step up musically from the first one "Juicy Gotcha Crazy". More club-oriented, makes you want to move, and better production.

  • okay...these girls could really dance their asses off...we used to MOVE back in the 90's....the lady who sings on this hook is the lady that was the voice of Shug Avery in the motion picture The Color Purple, and her name is Tata Vega...love it!

  • For the dancers back in the day this was the sh*t to do choreography to.

  • Sweet L.O that is one fine women... I love those little short she wearing.

  • I am dancing to this song in class and I thinks its okay to tell someone what you think (like: I like this song or I dislike this song) just don't be mean

I think this song is okay

  • People are so ignorant if you dont like the music dont listen to itgo pick your nose you loser!!!

  • hip hop honorz? are u on fuckin' drugz???!!! they wuz sexy but datz jus' about it.

  • I think it's time for VH-1 to add them to the Hip Hop honors. Even Missy Elliott said they inspired her, and you can clearly see that!!!!

  • i can tell debucks is the kind of person who has to hate on other people to make him/her feel good!! get some self esteem what did 3-5-7 ever do to you? your a joke!!!!!!

  • its really sad that you had to resort to cussing are you not smart enough to get your point across without cussing me out....as you noticed when i stated my "Opinion" i did it in a nice intelligent way....get some class!!!!!!

  • NAW bruh! the main reason that i got on yo' stupid ass case was because you called them "bitches", and i dont appreciate you callin' someone who im related to no "bitch". wouldn't you get offeneded? you can not like the music all you want, everyone has an opinion and their own taste in music, but i dont appreciate you callin' mah fam no names aight. it aint even necessary, forreals!

  • yo r they married? I would luv to meet them, r they fat now? hope not. the one with the long hair is so sexy.

  • the one with the long hair sweet ld is a muslim now but she still looks the same and terrible t has gained some weight but she still looks the same both of them are married with kids they are still my favorite female rap group ever

  • I like these and everyone should be respect.. That what them hard worked before.. They were hell as hot as dance and song was dope.. Then it's my opinion about that Oaktown 357 better than Salt n' Pepa.. (I love it) hahaha

  • I love 357. Both of these ladies were fine as Hell and they could rap they asses off!!! Brings back fun memories....

  • makes you wanna dance. we use to make fun of hammer and the other oaktown folks, but come on it makes you wanna dance.

  • watch yo' fuckin' mouth bruh....one of those BITCHES your referrin' to happens to be my aunt (terrible t)....so you NEED to be koo off all that name callin' and shit OKAY, 'cause she aint no BITCH. hatin' ass mutha fucka.

  • mutha fxcka please, YOU just mad 'cause you aint had NO kinda fame in yo' life, so you gotta hate on other people to make yo'self feel better. you aint shxt anyways. you ain't hard talkin' behind no damn computer screen either. and what?

  • Wow! That's a blessing to have an aunt who's a part of Hip-Hop history and Legacy. She and Sweet LD made some great videos and music that fans still enjoy to this day.

  • i can tell debucks is the kind of person who has to hate on other people to make him/her feel good!! get some self esteem what did 3-5-7 ever do to you? your a joke!!!!!!

  • Does anyone remember when they called out Janet and Hammer called out Michael to a dance off?

  • I didn't hear about them challenging Janet but I do recall them dissing Salt-N-Pepa's dancer/choreographer Peeka-a-boo (or something like that). 3-5-7 came along way from their 1st CD because that 1st one was garbage but they more than made it for it with the 2nd CD. "Turn It Up" was the truth!

  • I don't remember that either but my friend said they did...i don't believe him....ohhhh by the way their first album was the ish!!!!!!!

  • So when were they out? cuz I see that they have a CD not a cassette, but I don't remember them at all

  • 80's and early 90's

  • ohh shit sweet l.d. shit i just caaaaaaaaaaame!!!!

  • does anyone have their wild and loose video?

  • I remember this! A great vid and song!

  • when i hear this i think about Zack the Black Power Ranger training with Jason at the juice bar.

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!! Im dying skills

  • give me sweet L.D.'s body with terible T's face !

  • Nothing like confident bad ass women that know how to work their asses.

  • That had some mad dancing skills.

  • i have this song...it sounds like it should be playing in a gay club. I dont remember them being so sexy. I only remember the vids 'yeah yeah yeah' and 'juicy gotcha crazy'

  • It was played in gay clubs. I know I went to many of them and heard this song.

  • This was the JAM In O.P.'s in Indianapolis back in the day!

God, I miss music like this, and "Rhythm is a Dancer". The GOOD Dance music days, not this techno/house shit, with the same beats...

  • sorry gotta quote biggie smalls:

    You cant touch my riches

Even if you had mc hammer and them 357 bitches

  • To all those interested in Oaktown 357's videos, their first album "Wild and Loose" was re-released in 2005 and includes a bonus DVD with all the videos from the first 2 albums. I just checked Amazon and there are some cheap copies. Enjoy!!

  • I loved these girls they had the moves. I got both they albums.

  • This was back when black female rappers could rap without offering to suck some dude's D*$#!

  • HAHA You got that right. Hip hop ain't the same no more it's hip pop why for the money and fame.

  • No one can touch 357! They had badder songs then Hammer and they could dance better too!!!

  • 357 always had the baddest moves on the floor.

  • This world would be stale if we only had white music...this is making me wiggle it

  • These girls could dance their Black asses off!!! Used to love watchin' them especially when they were with MC Hammer.

  • i agree!!

  • hammer was the pdiddy

  • i thought is was 4 girlz?

  • they went the way of destiny's child.

  • this video is tight . there dance moves are sick.........

  • 15scottie need 2 go suck a dick

  • Sang Tata!!!

  • where are they now? i remember that mitsubishi 3000gt was the shit back then.

  • These bitches worked it..they Gave it to you..in the most remarkable form...that my friends, you cannot deny

  • what the fuck is that supposed to mean???

  • Thats exactly why you are watching this video... Thats exactly why millions of white men want to bone Beyonce, Alcia keys, and Halle berry. This is exactly why millions of white people adore Oprah. This is why everywhere I go, white Men flirt with me constantly. The only one who is fucked is your kids. It's a shame they will have to grow up being taught by an asshole-iggnorant, fool like you. Grow up, or don't comment at all. Racist!!

  • It's they're not there dildo. You need to check your spelling before you talk about lack of education.

  • It's they're not there dildo............i need a translator!!!.......anyone please help me with gladkid's comment,i can't make it out..............

  • cracker

  • You missed a comma after the word "Also" and a semicolon should've been placed between the words "back" and "it", instead of a comma, moron.

    Go die.

  • ur point is?

  • Man, back in day you couldn't just rap, you had to fuckin' move! Even as smooth as Big Daddy Caine was, he even could step. Man I miss those times.

  • I know now if you are a hip-hop artist today all you have to do is walk across the stage, degrading black woman and talking bout bling. It's pretty easy for em now lol

  • Preach my brother...I wonder what ever happened to having your own style and making up your own dance move? Kid and Play and MC Hammer were the masters of that!

  • degrading black women? Why not just women in general? I would have agreed itf you had said that but you singled out only black women as if their the only ones, their not.

  • I stated black women because rappers use them more predominately than white counterparts. Have you seen any rap videos recently? There aren't alot of white woman in them. But rap is degrading to women in general I agree. I was more so commenting on the images of black women in the videos.

  • Gotcha I looked at your statement as one about all fascets of rap, not spedificlly videos. Sorry for typos im half sleep. Have a good one.

  • KANE!!

  • Well excuse me...Kane. Hell, I don't know what I was thinking when I spelled it.

  • I learned most of my dance moves in the 90's from Oaktown 357 cause them sista's could step!!

  • this lady were hawt bac in the day, sexy ass ladys

  • Fantastic video. When Janet J started wearing knee pads in her videos then it was "on" for everyone. I love it!

  • The 3.0 GTO or 3000 GT suffered from Mitsubishi not following up the name of Starion meanwhile Toyota was too busy ruining the new 93 Supra making it too goddamn fast for a car that was being purchased for its personal luxury sports car qualities as well as Toyota taking out badges that made the Supra special instead replacing it with Toyota badges leading people to just see it as an expensive Toyota instead of a Supra

  • BTW I have owned/driven my Supra for over 10 years the F&F car was beyond the reach of people too, specially when Mercedes came out with the Kompressor for the same price so you got the buyers, mostly whites to buy them thanks to biased magazine coverage.

  • I don't think that Hollywood's Cat Woman could hold a candle to these women and their sexy outfits. Oaktown 357 were excellent dancers and they were in great shape at that time.

  • I think they should have done something different than the vocals If you think you can move than turn it up etc. I never liked that part. Tata Vega did the vocals it just doesnt work for me. Tata Vega did the vocal for Shug Avery in the move "The Color Purple"

  • Very cool car...VERY gay music!

  • are yout alking about the mitsu 3000gt?

  • indeed I am...it's a first generation, and not sure if it's a VR4, but a beauty nonetheless

  • Very true to bad Mitsu is really not in the performace leauge anymore, but hopefully the Supra will make a much needed return all rumors aside it needs to happen. Also Oaktown 357 was a major female group back in the day with Boss, Queen Latifa, Moni in the Middle, Salt n peppa, and this 1 chick that was just raunghy but i cant remmeber her name for the life of me.

  • The Supra should never come back, if it does its only gonna get whored out to these tuner people who want to be fast and furious from the movies

  • You may be right but I am more than 100% certain that your more than wrong. When it is brought back, and it will come back you will look extremly stupid. It will be anywhere from 60-80k in most cases far outside the reaches of most fast and furious movie people you discuss. But just your claim that is should never be brought back means you know litle about the car its heritage or its following. I feel sorry that you have not had the opportunity to drive and love one of these amazing vehicles.

  • Unlike you jackass, I actually own a stock 1987 pearl white Toyota Supra Turbo Targa, before that I had a Starion and before that a Conquest that were both Turbo and I have been a fan of Japanese Toyota Supras since I drove a 1979 Celica Supra that I tried to buy off of someone I knew but would not sell it to me back in 92.

  • BTW I have owned/driven my Supra for over 10 years the F&F car was beyond the reach of people too, specially when Mercedes came out with the Kompressor for the same price so you got the buyers, mostly whites to buy them thanks to biased magazine coverage.

  • you talking about Choice? the raunchy girl rapper, yeah she was nasty and more filthy than lil' kim was, not to many people know about her (if that's who you were talking bouy) I like to call mysely a music connisiuer (did i spell that right?)

  • yep thats who it was thatnks for the info i've been woundering what her name was.

  • This wasn't from a soundtrack. it was from their sophmore album "Fully Loaded"

  • In fact it was on the Class Act soundtrack! This song was played during the car chase scene near the end of the movie!

  • I like the choreography that starts at 2:54 and 3:54 This video was way before its time. It was future-istic

  • What soundtrack was this on?
