  • Take a good look guys, that's our money flying over the tables.

  • I know it's maybe wrong, but he made the check on the river as he wants to trap gus for it, that's a nice check raise on the turn thou, a very good move

  • After watching thisI immediatly looked for the last hand button to see what Gus had.

  • pokerview is open to us players as well

  • im I the only one who thinks the checkraise by sbrugby was strange, i meant he had middle pair it felt like he was only getting called by better hands in this spot since would probably never fold a 9 or better. Maby he raised to protect against draws or to play tricky (which is very strange with such a mediocre hand).

  • gus was flushing

  • Gus probbly had 6 high or something i remmber next both went all in gus took it down with 7 2

  • mmm no i think both were very confident the other didn't have a 9

  • Comment removed

  • its actually patrick antonius

  • no its brian townsend

  • u sure don't know ur online poker brian townsend is sbrugby PA is luigi66369

  • gus got owned

  • He should have value bet the river

  • i think its a fake video anyway....... 5 big names in poker all sat around a six deep ring game????? bit fishy.

with the play tho, gus??? prob had an underpair or a nice drawing hand, hence the long time to make hismind up to call the c/r on the turn!

  • it's 100% not fake... this happen quite often... go to ivey stakes on full tilt poker. you see durr zigmun gus hansen and patrik antonious and sometimes phill ivey playing all together... phil ivey don't play with them that often but durr zgmund gus and patrik plays all the time. Time to time benyamine and phil plays with them

  • so wtf did gus have?

  • i think gus ad sixes

  • Oh man, this might of been a major suck out for Townsend. Gus loves to play low cards, it's a serious possibility that he had 4, 2, and that when the board paired on the river he was counterfeited.

  • i think gus is jamming the turn with that two pair when townsend comes back over the top if he has 24.

i personally think he had something like 56 and turned an open ender, and figured he was getting the right odds to hit on the river and bust him.

  • I suppose that's possible, but the call on the flop seems a little weird if he has 56. He's aggressive and curious, but I'd still think he had something given that he called a pot sized bet. I like the idea that the turn gave him something worth holding on to though. Maybe he had 4c, Ac?

  • very true that's very good analyzation, but i wonder why gus didnt just shove on the turn

  • it's also very possible gus might have had 3 5 suited and was calculating pot odds when he took a while to make the call, and since townsend reraised on the turn it froze gus so gus couldnt possibly bluff on the river because he put townsend on a very big hand and thought townsend was trapping gus

  • The dead give away Sbr had nothing, well at least the 9 was checking on the river, You want to value bet in that situation ,

Mind you that 7 bail him out and afford him the luxury of checking the river.. just to make sure he wasn't betting into 9's , No way SBR check that river with NO pair ...he would have bluff, the question is how much.

  • what is gus calling the turn with?

  • lol that's prob. the same play i would make if i had three 9's. he can't call you w/ worse after u c/r that turn and lead that river. obv.

  • i love it how everyone speaks as if they are pros yet the only pros are the ones in the video people who have made millions at poker

  • e4zy2007= A faggot that obviously doesn't know shit about poker.

  • What a sick table... Benyamine, Antonius, Hansen, Townsend and Juanda... How the hell could any amateur make money there?!

  • haha u dont know sbrugby..idiot

  • induce a bluff? gus played like he had a 9, if he bets, u gotta either put him on a bluff, or a 9, the chances of him having a 9 were wtill good because of the way he played. thats why sbrugby checked, not to induce a bluff, but because of fear of a 9

  • how strong can u be when u checkraise on the turn then check on the river, all gus had to do was bet strong! he outplayed himself.

  • just had to bet? , he could have easily had 35 and took the check from Brian as a oppurtunity to take the pot right there. when the 9 hits the river, it`s less likely that Gus has a 9, so what can Gus represent? Sbrugby at the river obviously checked to induce a bluff. Which he would if a player like you were there.

  • Nice check raise, but could only do it because he got lucky on the turn. He bet a healthy amount after the flop with total sh##. He was also lucky gus wasn't holding a 9.

  • i dont't consider giving up on the river after getting the semi-bluff called on the turn...

  • gus called on the button to out play her in position. maybe he had pocket 6's. he may of floated the flop and picked up a good draw on the turn.. totally diffrent poker at this level but what the hell do i know i play at 10/25 table lol

  • sbrugby is a guy lol

  • oh my bad i was just looking at the avator

  • Gus hanson should of value bet the river atleast 15k easily

  • WTF was that shit?

  • thats what I said x'DDDDDDDDDDD what was this SHIT ? omg.. xDDDDDDD

  • nope. he didnt

  • gus was bluffing or semi blufing wt a small

pair or something and sbrugby caught a 7. not exactly out playling gus. it was a nice pot

    through to get lucky.

  • how is that getting outplayed.. lmao, you know nothing about poker

  • WOOW $4k preflop with ten high OOP, i see better plays at the 1c/2c tables i grind for a living, at the AC

  • can you grind 1c/2c for a living? haha! 20 tables at once?

  • lol 1c 2c for a living, i could make an easier living buy finding change in my furniture

  • how did he get outplayed...?

    stupid vid

  • I would not want to play at this table lol, i think my 100K would last 1,5 minute lol

  • sweet play!

If Hansen fired a big bet on the river, wonder if Townsend folds?

  • yea for sure

  • thats a good online table, gus hansen, john juanda, brian townsend, david benyamine and patrick antonious.

  • gus hansen should play him in face to face no limit texas hold em..

  • BRIAN TOWNSEND IS THE MAN

  • LOL Jumpmannaments

  • lol at jumpman, the reason he check-raises the turn is because of gus's propensity to float with an ace high type hand that could of picked up a draw and the river is pretty safe so he's check calling anything for sure i seen the comment where the guy said he'd bet hard after he checked, this is how people make money, off people like you who just fire without really thinking about how it.

  • I HAVE ALL HSP IN ORDER!!

  • TOWNSED=SBRUGBY...

  • gues prolly had the A 4 of clubs

    he missed his flush

  • 7 10? so played the flop with absolutely nothing? fucking luckbox

  • lol he's one of the best players in the world you moron.

  • think about it, maybe he doesn't want his own avatar and become a ftp whore, theres a lot of conditions when you "officially" represent full tilt, I would bet anything he has been offered.

  • A bit strange that Townsend/Sbrugby doesn't have an avatar of his own. He is clearly one of the biggest stars at FTP

  • LOL @ Hivedes. Brian Townsend (aka sbrugby) has already proved himself as a very skilled live player and made an appearance on HSP season 3.

  • how do you all know that sbrugby is townsend?

  • look at the video where brian is interviewed...

  • I put sbrugby on 44 :(

  • is that Brian sbrugby townsend? every time I've seen him he has a dog avatar not a devil chick.

  • he changed to the dog a few months ago

  • I'd like to see sbrugby try to outplay Hansen in live play

  • put him on 99, guess i wasnt right this time :)

  • is he realy gus hansen??

  • I think it`s right to check the river, he was probably check calling, and with a board like that, doesn`t seem that gus hansen has a 9, he maj have AK or something like that, but if townsend check the river, and gus bets strong, Townsend could analise the hand, and really get paid off

  • There's no excuse for terrible grammar.

  • wtf are you thinking, are you dumb should they play therer hands like robots and play your style, they get beat so fast you idiot its playing the player not some dumb system you have

  • outplaying gus hansen? is this guy ironic?

jesus christ, both players are playing like beginners.

why checkraise the turn and then check river?

He gives up the pot totally to Hansen and i think gus should bet the river quite hard

  • are you ironic? easy to say that when you know the outcome of the hand. I'd like to see you play these blinds...

  • its easy for you to say....theres a lot of money on the line...

if u think from gus's point of view....brian townsend could easily have a 9...and the check might be a trap...and gus probably have like pocket 55 or A10...if u have those card and theres a big pot in front of you...i'd like to see you bluff

  • lol. Im sure we will be hearing about "gazzaflush" playig high stakes poker sooon cause youre so good right.

  • It's all so easy, isn't it?

  • No you didn'nt you just said that shit after the hand was over. He checked because he thought either gus had the nine or a fullhouse, no point tryin to muscle him off a hand like that you idiot

  • As far as I'm concerned, Gus Hansen and Brian sbrugby Townsend are two of the best cash game players in the world.

That was such a sick read by Townsend on the turn, to make that play with 2nd pair. NH for sure.

  • ....

  • its a dude "havnoy":

  • If he had knew her hand i should gone all in on the river, and she had fold... that was an really expensive draw for gus :)

  • he was afraid of the 2 nine's on the table

  • I think Gus had a pair and a flush draw on the turn, probably 45 of clubs.

  • nice
