In my experience both the straight and gay world perpetuate the gay cliche. Being gay I feel the gay community often forces the gay cliche on me, but also the straight community does, very strongly. I got sick of it long time ago. Now I usually ignore it. Protesting it doesn't make much difference, cos both groups don't show any signs of stopping doing it. When I critize both groups for doing it they react strongly, both claiming I attack them. Suck a joke. I am just me and I love being me.
