I've heard the term sealed boxer. It is very rare and usually fetches 2-3 thousand more than a regular boxer. A sealed boxer is black mostly they're seen as a dark brindle si they may or may not have some gold in the black. I saw one at a store once there was no doubt they do exist. They are very rare though. The one i seen in the store was completely black with white socks and blue eyes. Dont know how long he would stay that way until the brindle stripes showed up.
Chill everybody, black boxers exist. They are not truly black in the sense is that they are reverse brindle. Instead of fawn body and black stripes (brindle) they are black with fawn stripes. When you take the reverse brindle boxer and look at the certain angle you'll see the brown stripes. They are also specimens which are so dark that you cannot see the stripes at all.

The reason behind was that black color is a dominant gene, and eventually the boxer would become a black color breed. White boxers are more likely be deaf than non white boxers. Google it and you will see statistics. But I agree, it´s far from all white boxers that have impaired hearing or deafness.

well how technical did you want to get, what dog is really pure bred, without any other mix at all? he may be a really dark brindle, i've never seen a fawn that dark, and white of course is possible, he just may be 75+ percent boxer but theoretically speaking you can't get a black boxer by breeding two full breads.
you can get a pure bred black boxer his technical name is sealed or reverse brindle but you just keep breeding dark brindles and then take the two darkest of that and breed and so on and so on untill you get a sealed bridle or all black boxer.

I have to say that black boxers are real. I have three and if AKC will register them I think that is it now becoming more popular. Most "black" boxers will have a small amount to tan but normally you can bearly see it. I have a female that you can not see any tan on her. So yes they are real. By the way he's a beautiful boxer. Lets just keep him in the passanger seat from now on. So we can see more of him.

they are known as reverse brindle, they are pure and can be registered within the AKC and CKC. if you actually knew about boxers you would know of the reverse brindle colouration.

well how technical did you want to get, what dog is really pure bred, without any other mix at all? he may be a really dark brindle, i've never seen a fawn that dark, and white of course is possible, he just may be 75+ percent boxer but theoretically speaking you can't get a black boxer by breeding two full breads.

you can get a pure bred black boxer his technical name is sealed or reverse brindle but you just keep breeding dark brindles and then take the two darkest of that and breed and so on and so on untill you get a sealed bridle or all black boxer.

I have to say that black boxers are real. I have three and if AKC will register them I think that is it now becoming more popular. Most "black" boxers will have a small amount to tan but normally you can bearly see it. I have a female that you can not see any tan on her. So yes they are real. By the way he's a beautiful boxer. Lets just keep him in the passanger seat from now on. So we can see more of him.
