I remember seeing them do this. Saw them at their 2004 tour. Billy is the greatest solo artist ever in my opinion. I do not dislike any of his songs and he's a Long Islander like me. I even grew up ten minute from where he lived on the Island.

I've seen Billy perform this song 4 times in concert -- solo. He sometimes does is microphone gymnastics during this song. And it's always awesome.

But, dueting with Elton takes this song to another level! Elton's singing style and his insane piano improvisations really make this song better than Billy could ever do solo.
