@CroceMalo1 it is indeed true that Taj Mahal is not what the books say about Shah Jahan. The exact building existed at least several hundred years before his time. There are three underground floors closed by the government from public view and they contain many statues which are not Islamic. The original building was bought from Raja Jai Singh by the mughals. That has never been disclosed by Shah Jahan. He only modified the building.
