Would you believe Bowser has a meteor smash? I'm not talking about the first swipe he takes with his ↓strong as Giga Bowser I'm talking about his ↓air, you know, the one where he spins downward spikes first. It is the very last hit that this attack is supposed to land and it sends foes straight down. It is not a strong one as they don't fall at a high speed and it's hard to land, especially against skilled players. It may take a few attempts to get it right, but believe me, he has one.

@BrawlProCF Now that I find hard to imagine, especially considering how many times I've been hit with that move. Then again, that may have been my cousin constantly landing it in the wrong way or just me being hard to hit with it. We also share tips and spar whenever we can so it's possible he doesn't know about it too. He's a hassle and a half with Falco btw. Anyway thanks for the info, I'll be sure to tell him.

Zero Suit's Up B if it hooks is a spike. Sonic's and Zero Suit's down A also but you might die along with them and they might also just fly up. Kirby's down A can be called a spike also. Zelda's down A when hit right and electrified is a powerful Spike like Ganon's.

Toon Link's spike is extremely risky compared to everyone else. And Ganon's spike is nearly impossible to recover. I think the easy spikers include Ike, Ganon, and Donkey Kong.

It is possible to recover from Ganon's spike. It helps to play a character with a quick acting recovery (samus screw attack or any tether) but nevertheless, ganon's is probably the most powerful and is hard to recover from.

The term has been thrown around a lot lately. If I'm right a meteor smash is used when the opponent has little damage, allowing your opponent to recover. A spike is instant kill, no chance to react.
