  • lol at the golf swing

  • @kalelarea51 go to our site and read the reviews. very solid sword as well as our f-320br model there are tons of reviews .

  • that took some clout - I bet the guy can crush a grape - even without a Hattori Hanzo sword!!

  • just because you watch anime doesnt make you a sword master, nip loving faggots, its a demo, you think a real sword master is going to demo an 80$ sword for a youtube audience? Also, there's a reason why people dont fight with swords anymore, they're called guns, its much easier to kill people I guaruntee

  • Its like ur playing cricket lol ..

  • oh come on hes not a pro but there was some thechnique on thet slash

  • All the keyboard warriors here talking shit about the guy's form obviously can't tell that it's a demo on the sword's cutting ability, not the person's technique. If this is the youth of our nations, oh, God, we're fuct.

  • that was not cutting

  • i personally use mineral oil on all of my swords.

  • AHHHHHHHHH! technique = none

  • are you left handed? email me with your answer. Thanks.

  • yes I am left handed.

  • @hanzoswordsdotcom are left handed smart?

  • it looked a bit more like you were playing baseball...

  • YAH BUT HE PROBADLY DOSENT CARE OF THE STANCE OR ART OF HOW SAMURAI USE KATANA....some ppl just buy it for the koolness of it not for the actual martial art and skill development of it

  • i wnat spring steel. just a thought i'm trowin around so one might question steel strength. man this guys funny when he cuts.

  • would this be comparable to the Musashi - 1060 Carbon Steel - Bamboo Warrior Sword? because i'm either thinking of getting this from your site or the 1060 from true swords both are priced the same.

  • The last one was good, would have put that one first. Most people probably only watch the first half.

  • hi i am curious. and you can check out my acct to see why. i have many carbon steel swords and all cut water jugs but when i go to the tameshigeri and cutting tatami mats. it is a different story. some i have cut water bottles but a mat is impossible and not because of bad technique. how does this sword do in real tameshigeri. cause i gave my friend a cheap survival knife and he cut water jugs with it easy. just curious. not slandering just curious

  • Have you tried slicing instead of chopping? (not assuming that you chop)

  • i wanna buy one any kind of special treatment like oil does it get rusted ? or is stainless steel ?

  • Hi Sesshoumaru17! All sword blades, functional or not will rust if you do not take care of the blade. If you cut something, always wipe it down. To keep any blade in good condition, there is a special oil called Choji oil. If you do not have any of this oil, you could use WD40 too, but Japanese oil is alway better (Choji). You would also need a cotton cloth to apply the oil.

  • Just got mine. I'm loving it! =]

  • thanks felix, it should ship either today or tomorrow.

  • that would be correct. Also to the guy who tried to cut bottles did you put water in them? If you try to cut empty bottles you will fail, also some of it is technique, although im not trained i do have lots of practice trying to cut things with swords.

Also eBay is full of people who sell you stuff and they are done with you. We stand by our products and have a 30 day return policy.

  • K awesome. That was the reason why I picked this replica over the others out there. It's made like an authentic katana. Now get your butt to your store and send me the sword I bought! =D

  • I'm assuming that the handle is pegged on, right? Not glued on like the other replicas.

  • great sword your form is not the best.. but great swort ty

  • High Carbon steel swords have better edge holding abilities, look around at all of the expensive swords such as Paul Chen Hanwei line or cold steel you will clearly see that they are made of high carbon. ive cut bamboo with these without sustaining any damage to the blade

  • well, it's been pointed out before that he's got no samurai swordskills what so ever, one can clearly see that he's holding the sword wrong, either you practice iaido, kendo, kenjutsu, aikido, ninjutsu or whatever... but he says it's "high carbonsteel"... well, as far as i know, the real samurai sword used a steel with less carbon. More carbon makes the blade brittle! If I would buy a sword like this, can you garantee that it will not break if I cut bamboo with it?

  • Yeah i would've but it was only $46. I would've gladly payed more to have it come sharp.

  • I bought the bride sword (not from your site)and I went to cut bottles but smacked it outta the ball park. So mine wasn't sharp at all.....

  • Hey Nibbiz82,

    You shoulda bought from us.

  • Our point of this video was not to show off his awesome samurai skills, as he clearly has none. It was to show that these days you can get a decent capable katana at a low price. Yes it's made in China. Even P.Chen swords are made there. Try doing the cutting he did with a cheaper 440 stainless sword. You will be disappointed if not injure yourself. This sword is capable of cutting bamboo. Try 1 out, if you do not like it, send it back, and we will refund the price of the sword.

  • can you do that with any kill bill brides sword even if it isnt from that site

  • If it is Musashi Kill Bill Replica, yes.

  • how can you tell if its msuashi i bought mine from someone on ebay and i can't get hold of them

  • HI, It will have the Musashi logo on the guard. (Two circles intertwining into one)

  • That's a sword, not a baseball bat dude...

  • SHARP!

  • Is that by Musashi?

  • Yap, Musashi Brand Sword.

  • Too bad you're holding the sword completely wrong xD!!!

His sword maybe sharp yeah, but for $60, you'd be better off grabbing a branch of a tree and trying to cut bottles with that. He obviously paid a lot more then $60 for that sword, otherwise everyone would have one.

  • i love bill's demon sword.

i know it had nothing to do, but who here plays devil may cry? does anyone know if they made replicas of vergil's sword?

  • Be funny if he couldn't get it threw and then his sword broke in half.

  • i bet you dont recycle..

you should cut through a tree. then i'll buy it

  • Of course we recycle. You have to be a moron not to recycle when the trash companies provide you with big bins to do so.

  • still say y'should cut through a tree >_>

  • Nice sword

  • Oh, we have them for $59.99 now, on sale. Get in where you fit in!

  • haight !

  • guys hes trying to sell you a sword not ask for your critsism about his swrod skills.

  • just try to improve your stance, and your swing, take kenjutsu lessons in kendo or something, and get appropriate clothes for weilding a katana. The left hand NEVER goes on top and the left hand is used for power on the bottom to pull.

  • EXACTLY NO FORM!!!

  • the last demo proves that he plays golf

  • He body says that he wants to swing lower.

  • Im not too sure about him.... he looks a bit like he's swinging a golf club rather than a baseball bat... but hey, we all have to start as newbies:) the bad thing is, I somehow doubt he has any wish to improve under someone's tutorship. I do not believe him to be seriously committed to improvement

  • its funny how he says "hei" to somewhat make it seem like he knows anything about swordsmanship or any style of swordsmanshi.lol that shit is useless

  • WHAT A FUCKING NEWBIE! iT LOOKS LIKE PLAYING BASEBALL... U SUCKS!!

  • Do you know anything about swords or cooking? The light plastic bends. Its more impressive that it can cut through plastic than a tree branch. Wood cuts easily. Its like a chef knowing his knife is sharp because he's able to slice easily through a ripe tomato.

  • I would agree with your thesis if the bottles weren't filled with water.

  • They're plastic bottles for fuck's sake! Cut something impressive!

  • wtf is this white son of a bitch doing?

  • cut down a tree or a light post than id be impressed

  • NEVER, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER try to test cut on a tree or, "god i cannot believe that you would say something this stupid", a light post.

  • We should just be glad these aren't stainless steel wallhangers. At least they are carbon steel. They still may bend, but they won't shatter and kill some poor anime warrior wannabe.

Just to reiterate, don't cut things unless you have been given proper instruction. People have and do die doing so.

  • What kind of kiai is that?? You probably dont know what you are doing.

  • And whats that weird kiai?? You sound and look like you dont know what you are doing and you probably dont.

  • go suck your kiai.that shit is useless...

  • You dont train Kendo or Hoki Ryu Iaido do you? Well i hope not...

  • Dude, you do not no what you are doing. You cut like if you where playing golf.

  • That's not the point. He's just advertising his wares. Leave him be ;)

  • however, hes showing the swords capability, i do not like the video, how hes cutting a simple bottle that i could cut with a butterfly knife xD, im sure you have heard this "Respect, Honor" if you are the greatest, quickest samurai, but show disrespect to others in a hateful way, you are barley considered a samurai

  • lmfao. this guy is a kunt.

  • i think he swings like a golfer

  • Hey, your right! He does look like he's golfing. LOL

  • Dude, don't use a weapon if you don't know how. You look retarded

  • you swing it like a baseball bat.

  • that's one sharp blade...but can it dice.

  • poor water....

  • What a Dump who do not know what he's talking about

  • Ok, the swords cut well, and it does look as though the fella is swinging a golf club, but come on, the little 'kung fu' noises on cut 1 and 2 are histerical!

  • Golf lessons 101.

  • I bet I could cut that katana in half with my folded steel katana.. lol.

  • haha ^^ it looks like you're golfing with a sword :D nice sword though, woot shes pretty. Nifty vid ^^

  • you swing it like a bat.

  • if you cut throught an empty water bottle i will give you my house.

  • The people giving you crap about this pretty much have no idea what they are talking about...and are attempted to be seen as Sword Experts when they have no clue.

I've been considering a hanzo sword for some time now..But..I really prefer swords with some type of story or historical background to them. Although i was rather impressed. I think i might take a look at them.

  • I hear you. The same "experts" who repeat verbatim stuff they've read off wikipedia. Just because I know a lot about swords doesn't give me licence to abuse people and give supposed advice on form and technique.

  • woah! i'm only 15! but i'm gonna get me one of those lol : )

  • wind chimes sound great in slowed down version - like church bells

  • I don't get it, if this is a high carbon, fully functional sword, how can these guys sell it for $79.00? Most sites I've been to have their fully functional swords for hundreds of dollars.

  • good question

  • It worries me to see something like this since you are untrained. Even teachers with years of experience have accidents so for people with no experience swinging a sword around is frightening. Aside from the sharp sword you can do quite a number on your body with incorrect handling. BTW, no matter if you're a left or a righty the left hand is ALWAYS to hold the bottom most portion of the hilt and the right hand is by the tsuba (hand gaurd). Keep safe.

  • That's right. If you are left handed, placing your left hand at the bottom of the Tsuka will give you an advantage as the right acts as a pivot point while the left is what actually moves the sword through a cut.

  • whoa o_O

  • this sword is available at hanzoswords dot com

  • Why not sell it for 75 dollars?

  • Oooh, ace! I wanted to get a hanzo sword lol, like that! hmmm, maybe i'll pay a visit! lol

  • Thanks. Admittedly im not trained with any sword fighting skills however with a sword this sharp i didnt have to be. My baseball swing came in quite handy.

  • When you chop both your legs off, don't come running to me for help! Hehe :P

    Nice demo.
